The compression blast is great for maps like hightower. Blew the entire team off the elevator and cart. (After setting them on fire) MMMMHHHHFFFMMMHHHFFFMMM!

The text isn't hard to read, it's just that sometimes the length is to short. So you don't get to read the whole thing. You should of put a part about extinguishing teammates that are on fire. ALL PYROS SHOULD DO THAT INSTEAD OF WATCHING YOU BURN. Very few of pyros that I've seen don't do this...

Guys, backburner is good for new players who won't think to use the M2, though in the end the compression and fast weapon switching of the degreaser is a lot more powerful.

It's even better with the degreaser, because you can switch back to reflect things while still pumping them full of lead (or flares) from your secondary. Not to mention puff-n'-sting with bouncing people and then axtinguishing/powerjacking them.

And especially doing it to scouts, who think they're super fucking good by running into your base and shooting you once then running off. Instead, just set him alight and airblast him into a corner. Watch'em rage after. ;)

The Pyro at 5:00 is an perfect excample of a M1+W Pyro, he was in the air, wasting flamethrower ammo, when he could have just switched to his shotgun and atleast deal some sort of damage.

I love the Comp. Blast, that´s the reason I use the Deagreaser at the moment, and not the backburner ~

Fact: the flame thrower has the worst damage per second dealt out of EVERY weapon in the game. Yes thats right, even the medic's syringe gun does more dps!! Off course, thats where ignite comes in. Oh, but guess what. Guess what, mini crits don't work on ignite -.- (inorite, -queue: fire and forget :D)

@Mckinzie1989 yes I have, personally I don't think that giving the backburner the ability to airblast is the right way to go about it, I'd prefer to see it give a speed boost, this would make it a choice between ambushing or being a generally useful pyro. I'm not too sure about the detonator, I haven't used it much.

Today I was 1 v 3ing 3 soldiers. I told them I could win alone if they were all soldiers. They took my bet, and I use the compression blast on all of them, who's shooting patterns were predictible. I even killed them in close range sometimes. They accused me of hacking, and I just said it's skill. I won in the end.

lol heres a story that i did with the CB:

Me (pyro) and one engi was defendin the B cp at gravel pit there was only 30 seconds left but a non-ubered heavy-medic team came throu the front door but me, the sentry, and the engi were weak and the dispenser was destroyed i thought we were screwd but i (for some reason) had the Default flamethrower and all i could think of is to blast the heavy with the CB for a while and bye the time i was out of ammo a soldier came and killed the heavy medic pair
