John Noble Acting Masterclass

They reason I kept watching Fringe was because of Walter's character and the way he was played. In season 3, the stories got very good too.

I forgot how brilliant this scene was. Noble, as always, was heartbreaking in his frustration.

I love Walter. Walternate, on the other hand, scares the living crap outta me. Just goes to show what a great acting job Noble is doing.

It's astounding how much difference writing, directing, the material etc. can make on the acting. I saw John Noble in an episode of Stargate SG-1 today and he was good in it but he just seemed like another generic person like all the other one-time characters, kind of flat.  I recognized him from LOTR though as Denethor (the only other thing I'd seen him in) and had remembered how amazing and moving he was in that, even though I had never seen him in anything else. Great here too!!

Fantastic stuff happening here, John Noble is brilliant on Fringe. My favorite part: Walter: "When Billy and I were younger, we ingested large quantities of LSD." Peter: "Oh, you don't say." LOL
