Counter Strike 1.6 isn't on the PlayOnLinux list for me,only Cs Source appears.

Guys, I've already seen Steam running native on Linux, its still in development but I expect it will be released this year.

Good old Counter Strike it been years since I played but I swear if Valve port Steam to Linux I would return if only for one night!

Ooh, fun. It's been a while since I played CS. Have you tried Half Life/Half Life 2? I played HL2 using Wine a while back and it played VERY decently.
