  • wat a line up.does this swing or wat? never mind the dates wat about this group.one of the best ever.still knocks me cold to this day.

  • I've always loved his playing from the Bill Evans recordings, but i didn't know he was so handsome and elegant to watch. He's one of those guys, like Ray Brown, that embodies the instrument by like being physically one with it when he plays.

  • @cyberprimate Nice description, yes he looks elegant and completely natural.

  • Was def 1956. My father Pete Robinson was the creator and executive producer of SOJ.

  • That's a crazy right hand, scott has!

  • This couldn't be 1962. Scott LaFaro died in an accident on July 6, 1961

  • Have you ever thought that sometimes the date is related to the day/year that it was presented on the tv?

  • @RareJazzVideos No offence, But the same video was presented by somebody else with the correct date: Richie Kamuca Quintet, Los Angeles: KABC studios, 7 April 1958. Stars of Jazz (1956-1958) Program #14). Richie Kamuca, tenor saxophone and leader Frank Rosolino, trombone Scott LaFaro, bass Victor Feldman, piano Stan Levey, drums
  • @RareJazzVideos lol, you win.

  • @Syllerud New title.

  • who's playing here, anybody knows? is this frank rosolino?
