My only complaint about this game is that there isn't enough fighting content. I would love to see more combos, supers, a throw option, and some extra move sets per character. After using a certain character for a little while, the moves became repetitive, and boring. It is a good game for what it is however, just a little lacking.

Pretty sure he has girls chasing him everywhere, and he is attractive to... If I was in that game I would totally flirt with him :) No wait, he's the bad guy so never mined. why is he evil anyway? Makes no sense.

Yoo cmon this is not a bad fuckin game from what i see now. i think ill have to find this now and get it for my Wii...i only have one game but this looks cool and the review was pretty good....heh and besides i saw some other videos with the finishing moves that were crazy...reminded me of those critical counters in SC4 but this here was way better on the dramatic finishers

You will hate it. There are NO throws. So you can just sit and block all day. Each character has an unblockable attack, but it's always slow and easy to avoid. Also, Characters have different run speeds. So some can just run away endlessly. Shame, since the game doesn't lag online.

Wiimote + nunchuk + castlevania = holy shit. With 1 or 2 gamepad classic i played it more than 80 hours playing vs 2p and some hours to unlock all characters.

I like the game. WHY? Alucard,duh! He is super cool and really cute. I ALWAYS play as Alucard in arcade and story mode. I hope they do another castlevania game for the wii,but it needs more sense and more action.

The art isn't horrible, just hard to get used to-- it's actually drawn by the Deathnote artist, which in my opinion is one of the best japanese artists out there.

actually this one should be an action rpg gameplay style all the consoles have that gameplay ecsept the wii that have a fighting style gameplay the graphics is not so bad for a wii but it could be more better at least look how soulcalibur 2 and 3 on gamecube and ps2 looks like even old ps2 fighting games like DOA2 hardcore or tekken4 have an amazing graphics back then.

I enjoyed the game and felt that they pulled it off as far as creating a current gen 3d fighter for my Wii. Some of the drawbacks for me were the lack of polish compared to last gens soulcalibur for GC. Then there was the unresponsiveness which could've benefited from the Motion Plus add-on. and it would've been more fun or popular with a franchise character or a create a person feature like with Soulcalibur.

I was surprised by the reviews, mostly because I had played and enjoyed it before I read any.

I do have a feeling too many really hardcore Castlevania fans just wrote the game off because of the new look.

It's not a bad fighter at all, I believe the same team that worked on Judgement is working on Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, I think that says a lot.

its extremely welll balanced there are lots of moves but depending which controller your playing it might be hard to do them i recommend playing with the game cube controller :: the combat system is great you can walk around the stage no t just be face always having to go 2 directions like foward and backwards you can go around the stage pick up items like on the boat stage theres boxes you can throw at your openent

@4bysmal Well not a solid fighting game, but at least a vs mode so you can show off your skill and dedication. Harmony of Despair though there's not a vs mode (that I know of) pretty much takes care of this. LoS and HoD are definitely at the top of my wish list.

I actually think the Castlevania series is at it's absolute best when it's 2D. Some series just can't make the jump to 3D... example: Sonic. But, that's OK, Castlevania works extremely well in 2D.

Have you seen Kwings Legacy of Darkness review? Castlevania can work in 3D just fine. Heck, even the new "Metroidvania" style could work in 3D, if Retro's Metroid Prime games are any indication. For same games, it isn't a question of can they work in 3D, it's a question of can the developers make it work.

Maybe because they already had Simon and Trevor in their, and didn't want the temptation of making to many clone characters. Of course, just because Richter is a Belmont and uses the same Whip doesn't mean he has to be a clone, but from a game design standpoint, it's vary tempting.

Yeah I totally agree! In fact, this is not really a fighting game, is more an action game, but with only 2 players. Keeping the same mechanics but in a traditional Castlevania 3D would be the next step!
