I hate badly researched reviews. $180 may be more expensive that a junk pc router---but how often do you see a hard drive -and- printer share on a netgear or linksys router for $79.99?
can you use it with a imac g4? or just a regular netgear WGR routers or will it work with both or none at all basicly im asking if a netgear router and or this router will work with a imac g4 someone help me out here
With the airport extreme do you connect it to a bt home hub for example for the internet? Is this like a bt home hub or is it a wireless source for the computer?
"If you already have a...linksys router"...Oh so you don't need an airport wireless router if you already have a wireless router, wow Captain Obvious here... Let me guess if I already have a dell laptop I don't need a Mac laptop right?
nope because the pc itself required that the airport update it's own firmware before even being able to connect with other pcs ( I had apple support themselves tell me that my airport out of the box would not work with my pc) that to me, is just plain garbage, for ANY router
She is so right stay away from N products until they are finalized or you will have a bricked $200.00 router in 6 months. Stick with G for at least another year.
wtf is wrong with her eye!!! -_u

Does this work for PC's and Mac's? Probably, right?
I want a wireless router with a USB for wireless printing.

When it was originally relased it was without gigabit ethernet. It was only upgraded with gigabit in August, after she did her review.

what is she talking about?
The Airport extreme's ethernet ports ARE gigabit.
