Hm... Sims 3 doesn't look that limited. With the new free world and more customization, it seems to surpass Sims 2 in some ways. IDK, we'll just have to wait and see if EA decides to include Cowplant (it seems to late to add aliens now) and everything we simmers enjoyed from Sims 2.

@WolfyGirl2000 I was really angry when Sims 3 caused a lot of Sims 2 players to just abandon their Sims for the new one. After a bit of thinking, I realized that the sims on Sims 2 will always be with me whether I play SIms 3 or Sims 2. It allowed me to learn more, and now I can't wait to buy a copy and play both of them. Your parents might be feeling something akin to this. They probably didn't like how fast it came out and the fact that many ppl seemed to forget Sims City.

I remember playing Sims 2. I remember the times I would yell at my sims for neglecting their baby. I remember the times I laughed when they had an aspirational failure. I remember being joyful and celebrating new family members.

I remember hating Sims 3 because I didn't want to let go of Sims 2. I remember telling myself that...no matter what...Sims 2 and all the families that I made and cherished will always be in my heart.

This song is the one that reminds me of everything that Sims 2 is.

My mom was like that, until I reminded her of the times she played the games herself. She told me that it made her feel free. Something that a lotof ppl don't feel most of the time. The Sims games are more than just games...they're our imagination in a world we created. Tell your parents that.
