  • Thanks man! This video has been a colossal help with my assignment on diseases! Props to you!

  • why does the plasmodium require two hosts?

  • Concept clearing video.excellant

  • April 25th is world Malaria Day. Lets raise awareness of this deadly disease!

  • If you get bitten by this thing how long time will it take before you die?

  • @Bigprocej 3 days

  • Its so important not to get bitten in the first place. I use incognito anti-mosquito, the only product in the world that is clinically proven to protect against malaria.

  • you cannot get HIV from a mosquito - but good thinking.

  • @bheckel Your probably rig- *mosquito humping you* uhh, dude, you might wanna swat that off, it could give you aids.

  • but why is it that when you give anti malarials to hiv patients they become so better?. its amazing

  • Crabs for christmas!!!!!!!!

  • If it so, Than HIV also can be spread with mosquito? Please think over

  • HIV is a very fragile virus that only binds to certain white blood cells in the human (cD4). It can't survive in the mosquito intestine.

  • Sir,What is the proof? The places where malaria is rampant,HIV is also excess in those places.

  • @sswank3d If it's SO fragile, why can't we just give our white blood cells combat knives and karate training? That'd kill 'em off!

  • @Deliphin11 Malaria is typically never found in the bloodstream where white blood cells have access to it. It's mostly inside a cell except when it's moving to another cell. That's why it's so difficult to develop a malaria vaccine.

  • @linkite7 It was a joke, most people I see believe the White Blood cells are the only thing that protects us and they're everywhere in the body.

  • But it isn't. If it is and you can provide reliable literature, then I am all ears.

  • Only an infected female Anophales mosquito can transmit malaria.....not every mosquito is infected so don't panic!!!

  • So you didn't say anything about what type of mosquito contracts that disease and as I am not properly educated in this kind of stuff though I want to I wanted to know if a mosquito bites it will inject malaria inside me therefore contaminating my blood cells? so what I should do is try not to get bitten by a mosquito?? cause this is a bit confusing

  • Easiest and Cheapest mass prevention is Free Mosquitoe Nets More measures like Draining cesspool prophylatic quinin like tablets insect repellents which may not be as practical as first

  • Can a mosquito spread a lot of diseses and infections?

  • Mosquito-borne Diseases

Dengue Fever, Dog Heartworm, Eastern Equine Encephalitis, Malaria, St Louis Encephalitis, West Nile Virus

  • wonderful video :)

  • can malaria be spread from person to person i have heard no but i just want to make sure

  • no it can't

  • @sswank3d Are you sure? My Microbiology teacher told me otherwise. She said it MAY be possible to spread Malaria from person to person by blood to blood contact or drug needles? Please correct me if I'm mistaken.

This video was very helpful by the way. Thumbs up*.

  • In rare cases it can

  • it can if you bite someone and you have malaria..

(She just stood there and lectured, no slides or pictures or anything >_>)
