In the SEC Championship game last year everyone thought that South Carolina would come back and beat Auburn after their lose the first time they met earlier that season but instead Auburn crushed South Carolina I know this isn't really relevant to the BCS game a couple day ago but all I'm saying is Auburn's offence was better the second time around just like Alabama's.

Okay, I had LSU in this game: 21-10. I thought it'd be a very close game down to the finish, and LSU would get a touchdown with a few minutes to seal the season, but I definitely was surprised. Personally the next day was a school day, so I only stayed up for the first half since I'm a fan of neither team (I'm a Michigan fan), and I didn't feel like hurting the next day. Well, I watched an abbreviated second half next day, and I wasn't surprised that Bama won, but I was surprised at the margin.

@Legostudiosplus Wow...thats a big margin. I almost feel bad for LSU's defense. They really did all you could ask for in a defense against such a high powered offense. But they couldn't stay off the field long enough to catch a breather because the offense was 3 and out almost everytime!

I never predicted a score, but I knew well before the game that if Bama played to their capability, that they would dominate and embarrass them, which is exactly what happened. I didn't know that it would be to the tune of a shut out, but I knew who the better team was. LSU has gotten a lot if lucky breaks this year, they r completely overrated.

@Kspadetheprospect True, and I wont discredit LSU's defense in the game. If anything they were LSU's best unit in the game. The offense left them on the field too long. But Bama's defense is still better as a whole, and I knew that before hand because of the talent and coaching level. I also knew that whoever passed the ball more efficiently would win, because running the ball on either defense was going to be difficult. Seeing as AJ was a more efficient passer, a figured Bama would roll.

I was talking with a co-worker that was saying LSU got dominated throughout and I was reminding him that LSU held Bama to fieldgoals for the bulk of the game. IF they could stayed off the field long enough to actually catch their breath and the offense converted ANYTHING it would have been a LOT closer on the scoreboard!
