  • im looking at owning some tropical frogs so this was well worth the find. still got a ways to go to get prepared for it though.

  • Wow that was totally fascinating.

  • you're playing with fire! if any of those critters escape in your house, you'll never get rid of them. i have a springtail infestation right now for several weeks and i can't get rid of them. they're feeding on the same tap water you said would kill them. so how do i kill them?

  • @knchen Springtails do not infest houses. If they are exposed to low humidity, they die very, very quickly. Tap water quickly kills the species of springtails that we work with, as well. I'm assuming that you're experiencing an infestation of another organism, or a native form of springtail. They do not feed on water - they feed on decaying things - but they do seek out humidity.

  • speak up cant hear what he is saying, hold on i need my ear trumpet lol. thanks for posting great info

  • shakeitupyes there already gone:) I put dish soap on the edge of the window and they got stuck and died. If u had them u would not want them hanging around when your about to take a bath. So now there gone:) :) :)

  • @stinag04 don't kill them! they're cute :(
