What happened to the ease of use, this is now so difficult to use in comparison. It took me twice as long to get anything done. The functionality is so limited and there a practically no extensions that are non commercial that work with this and creating a menu without having it become and endless mess of sub items is impossible.
I used to be able to import contacts in .CSV format into Joomla! 1.5, am having trouble finding the same functionality in J1.6. Please assist. Thankx.
@noobiedev There are no 'Sections' in 1.6 like there were in 1.5. Now, it's all nested categories, which means you can create a category and have unlimited sub categories.
I can't fail to notice that you've published videos today featuring new Joomla 1.6 and all spoken by this guy. And the only thing that I can notice (besides obvious - Joomla being the greatest CMS in the world) is that either he spoke for about 10 hours at once or he wore the exact same shirt for a couple of days.. :)

Yes it's a very good tutorial. Joomla gives many changes and possibilites to Joomla 1.6 templates. It's important to know them all well.

how can i create a new section on joomla 1.6 that all i need to learn everything else is cover for now. thank u

@coldtea Andrew Eddie is the main architect of Joomla 1.6, and many of the videos that are "talks" have been recorded on the same day.
