Wow... Brings back bad memories. I loved this girl with all of my heart, and she broke up with me, then about 2 months later she said she'd take me back in December. On November 29th 2011, she told me she no longer liked me, and she started going out with my best friend. Cruel World huh.

If you think about it, it's not the labels that are the problem. It's the fact that people can't seem to accept others' differences. @zomb13saurusrex don't believe all is lost there will always be people out there who want to see you get hurt but there are also people (like many of the fine people on this video) who'll try to help you if things start to look bad. i like to think of hope as a light to remove the darkness of despair and loneliness - the beauty of light is that even if it is small, it will still remove the dark. so when things start to look bleak think of something happy to be your light. we're here for you :-)

Could it not also be that people impose burdens to live on one another? If life became too hard for an individual it would be selfishness on their part, not on the part of the ones that expected them to live up to their expected duty or simply be there performing their role? I could easily be flamed for this, but this is an alternate way of addressing the idea, simply to show that there isn't necessarily one way to look at these things.
To those who feel isolated, this feeling isn't particularly any simpler to convey, and to expect them to be able to share these feelings with others when they feel this way is a somewhat odd expectation. A final note is with regards to the burdens left behind on loved ones after one takes their life. While one could say they selfishly took their own life to escape suffering while leaving burderns on the people who are left, why not look at it another way?
You must consider however--what sort of consolation is any of this to those who are lost in the depth of their own personal suffering so deeply? There is something strange about how unique one's own suffering feels to oneself yet it is supposed to be a consolation that there is nothing special about it.

Could it not also be that people impose burdens to live on one another? If life became too hard for an individual it would be selfishness on their part, not on the part of the ones that expected them to live up to their expected duty or simply be there performing their role? I could easily be flamed for this, but this is an alternate way of addressing the idea, simply to show that there isn't necessarily one way to look at these things.

To those who feel isolated, this feeling isn't particularly any simpler to convey, and to expect them to be able to share these feelings with others when they feel this way is a somewhat odd expectation. A final note is with regards to the burdens left behind on loved ones after one takes their life. While one could say they selfishly took their own life to escape suffering while leaving burderns on the people who are left, why not look at it another way?

Emo is a style, not a way to live. we all have emotions some are better at bottling them up, but if they do that it doesnt take long for that bottle to burst. @98Jninja Not to speak against the expression of emotions, but the whole "tea kettle" idea of bottling emotions and having them burst is all folk psychology and there is actually contradictory evidence to such claims. People who accustom themselves to letting out their emotions rather than internalizing actually have less control over those feelings as time goes on. Internalization in this case refers less to repression and more to a coping with and setting aside.
