  • Really good chicken ! I made this for myself and my 3 year old grand nephew, he loved them! He would have polished off all 8 drumsticks had I let him, but I wanted some too! I used allspice and curry powder, instead of ginger and turmeric. Served with rice, sweet potatoes and green beans. The onion sauce was very yummy! Looking forward to making more of your recipes.

  • Ah, this looks so good! My favorite part of this recipe is the left over onion sauce :) Save the chicken bones to make stock, and mix with the left over sauce for some delicious soup the next evening ^-^

  • you can actually omit it if you dont like ginger. Ginger gives a real nice taste to poultry.

  • thanks alot ...in Libya we make them the same way ,but we add tomato sauce , chili powder, half a cinnamon stick , and some hot pepper to the chiken when we cook them

  • My favorite parts of the chicken are the drumsticks. This recipe hits the spot. It's easy to make and quite tasty. In the final phase, I fried the breaded drumsticks for two minutes on each side on medium gas flame to get perfect, golden brown drumsticks. I must compliment Alia on a superb video presentation. It's the best I've seen so far. I'm looking forward to making her other recipes too. Thanks very much!
