lmao rampage is an idiot.....rashad evans only has 1 loss......rashad only lost to machida......he also has 1 draw with tito ortiz......other than that, rashad has won all his matches.....
@aznkent29 yeah but rampage is saying he believe he lost to tito, his personal opinion as a fighter.. sometimes the judge make bullshit decisions like ''draws'' for the most part
rampages is the reason why rashad lost the belt he tlkd so much smack that allrashad wante to do was kick rampages hs ass and it got to rashad and he lost the belt and wanted to beat rampage
i would have a lot more respect for rampage if he didnt bitch slap reporters half his size. he is a great fighter though even though evans is way more intelligent than him. thats why evans won.
I really like Rampage in this one. I think Rashad probably is the quickest, & has the most crisp boxing. But I still think Rampage is the better grappler, and heavier puncher, and definitely the strongest.
I think Rampage is easily the #2-3 lightheavy in the division; next to Shogun, & Machida. I think Rampage can take Rashad's best shots, more than Rashad taking Jackson's best shots.
Former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia (age 33) challenges former boxer Ray Mercer (age 48) to a BOXING MATCH in a boxing ring. However, just 2 days before the boxing match is to happen, Sylvia has a change of heart and changes the terms to a MMA MATCH in an octagon. Mercer does not back out and knocks Sylvia out in a matter of seconds. How can a fat, old, inexperienced guy walk into MMA and KTFO a former champ who is 15 years younger than him like that?
How can someone walk into your sport and own your ex-champ at it on a mere 2 days' notice?? That would NEVER happen in boxing. Another case-in-point: Brock Lesnar, former WWE wrestler, wins the UFC heavyweight title in just his 2nd fight! Another thing that would NEVER happen in boxing! Perhaps boxers are superior athletes to MMA fighters and perhaps boxing is a superior sport?? Please advise. (snicker snicker)
@zanga9 - Oh really. Care to explain how washed up 48 year old fat ex-boxer Ray Mercer KTFO'd former UFC heavyweight champ Tim Sylvia at his own game??? That alone blows your weak statement out the water. Boxing > MMA. MMA = Man On Man Action. MMGay.
@comedicstuff tim sylvia is slow for one just tall i would like to see that ray mercer bitch fight Brock Lesner both heavy weights adn i guarantee Lesner would win adn it doesn't blow my statement out of the water retard it was one fight but good to know your so confident that a boxer is more athletic than an MMA fighter it must take so much talent to just punch for 15 rounds
@zanga9 Tim Sylvia lost to Mercer, because he was arrogant. Din Thomas recently stated that he would box Mayorga. Fortunately, the fight didn't happen. But Sylvia tried to fight Mercer in an element in which Mercer is a master(Boxing). I still think Sylvia is a great fighter.....He just made a stupid mistake. I think he would beat Mercer if they fought again.
@muayboran74 i think if any boxer tried to scrap an MMA fighter in their game they would get whopped all around the octagon they aren't used to blocking knees adn head kicks only punches so lets bring mercer to the octagon now so that comedicstuff guy can eat his words
@zanga9 It would take a really good Boxer to do well in the UFC. That Boxer would also need to have EXTENSIVE training in wrestling, grappling, & kicking. But financially, would it be worth it, for a Boxer to make that crossover? Will Mayweather make $20-25 million for one fight in the UFC? Pacquiao? Most Boxers made that crossover, because of their lack of appeal in Boxing. Mayorga, Toney, Mercer....All unappealing @ this point in Boxing. Let's not forget Mercer lost to Kimbo!
@muayboran74 yeah exactly MMA is way more than just fucking punching you have to defend kicks take downs submissions adn who loses to kimbo slice great street fighter but i'm sorry if your a pro fighter you should be able to rock him in a fight lol
@zanga9 See whilst I love MMA, this is a comment almost aimed at boxing. Boxing is a -helluva- lot more than just punching and to throw even a good striker in the UFC into boxing training is wishing more than putting a good boxer into MMA training in my opinion. The competition is at a much higher level and the grace, agility, accuracy and timing is much more difficult to get.
If anything wrestling and grappling is just as if not more important in a fight than striking. That's why historically when a pure boxer and pure wrestler would face each other in an all out match, the wrestler generally would always win. All the wrestler has to do is take the boxer down before he can land a punch and he's a fish out of water. In modern mma a fighter must be skilled in all aspects of combat to be successful. Brock Lesnar may be big, but he's also a skilled wrestler and athlete.
@fearfactor22 - That never seems to happen when a "wrestler" charges at me in a street fight. They always seem to run into my right hand and end up wrestling with the sandman. lol
@fearfactor22 - It depends on how skilled the boxer is. A great boxer like myself is able to use his boxing skills the way Bruce Lee used his martial arts skills. Not much of a difference, except instead of using my legs to kick - I use them to position me to KTFO people while thwarting any attack they attempt.
@comedicstuff I grew up on Boxing. I trained in East St Louis, with some of the remaining Spinks family. I always wanted to be a great fighter. I from Boxing, to Judo, to Tae Kwon Do, to Muay Thai to Krav Maga. Now, I am currently in Milwaukee, and I am training in Doce Pares, under GM Sipin. Boxing, in my opinion is always a great base. It definitely gives you an advantage over almost any (MMA) fighter who does not focus enough on Boxing.
I know what you mean, even Bruce Lee himself incorporated boxing into his fighting style because it is effective. As far as punching power and speed boxing beats all the other martial arts out there for fist use. In mma boxing coupled with wrestling is a deadly combination, which is what both Rashad and Rampage use. I'm just saying it's good to have some ground game in case a fighter does happen to get taken down. But yeah I'm for Rampage in this fight as well.
@comedicstuff I disagree. Luck can only carry you so far. Fighters do not have winning streaks because they "got lucky", they get them because they are skilled in something. Sure, with the 4 oz gloves you might get a lucky punch landing flush that just wouldn't happen in boxing but it only happens now and again.
@comedicstuff I will agree that professional boxers are always going to be better boxers than boxers in UFC. They have to work on one skill set far more intensively, whilst MMA fighters have to be diverse. Would this mean that a good boxer could just walk into the UFC and start cleaning up? Possibly but I'd say with the lack of ground game unlikely. However that's the great thing about MMA, there can be surprising upsets, it's a toss up every time.
@ZeroMalarki I've learned as a martial artist, never underestimate any opponent. Boxers are martial artist too! That's what people fail to point out. MMA is MMA...I remember the UFC used to be "strikers vs grapplers"......But both types learned that in order to be elite, you had to develope yourself in all facets of a fight. You have to learn Boxing, kicking, submissions, and wrestling to be truly successful.
@muayboran74 Very true and boxers are some of the deadliest strikers around. Generally nobody can match their head movement, grace, speed or hand eye co-ordination. When they enter into things such as K-1 however, they often get beaten by leg kicks and kicks to the body which allow their opponents to slow them down whilst maintaining distance. In UFC, many of the greats will incorporate both elements - Anderson Silva has at least one session a week boxing whilst GSP and Chuck Liddel (contd)
@muayboran74 used olympic boxing coaches to make sure that they had their hands in the right place. I train in muay thai about 2-3 times a week but want to have some boxing coaching so that I can use my hands more effectively and learn the timing and head movement of a good boxer.
@ZeroMalarki I think one of the biggest mistakes of MMA fighters, is that they totally dedicate themselves to be exclusive @ one gym. I think Kevin Randleman, for instance, would have been really good, had he not stayed with Hammer House for so long. He thought that all he needed was take down, ground, & pound. No submissions, no solid boxing, no kicks, nothing but wrestling. And also the entire Gracie family!
@ZeroMalarki - Exactly. Like you said, it's a toss up every time. And why? Because there's a lot of luck involved in MMA. In MMA, luck plays a part in many of the fights to about the same degree that skill does. That's not the case in a boxing match, however.
@ZeroMalarki - What you said is true, though. I just like giving mma fans a hard time. I like mma too. Looking forward to the fight this weekend. Routing for rampage.
I think Rampage is a better fighter than Evans, cleaner striking equal wrestling better chin bigger in size more experience against top level fighters.
@ADZ01982 non of that matters in ufc so what if hes a bigger size cleaner striking he could be better then rashard at everything but if rashard gets that lucky punch in its all over baby
Rampage is crazy but i think wen silva fought rashad sure rashad had the more takedowns but come on silva won that fight i mean he could of.... because rashad aint got chin thiago got him with that hook on the chin and rashad was knocked out and instead of unloading on him the only thing that cost silva the fight was that he was taunting rashad to hit him wen he was unconscious while standing they were both standing which made evans recover.. Rampage and Evans at U.F.C. 114!!! Cant Wait!!!! :D
silva could have won the fight? ......lol rashad landed more punches and got all the take downs and when silva had evans hurt he was too gassed from the take downs ..............almost don't win a fight sorry
they soppose to fight in March.....but im thinking may..And Rampage is gonna kill Evans..dnt get me wrong but, Evans cant take a punch that rampage can deliever and rampage can take a punch and a kick jus not a knee...lol..so Rampage will win, by knock out
ok dumb FUCKS do ur homework rampage is coming back to fight rashad after he's done with his movie and really don't say nothing you would'it say in person
@VVarMachine5150 I don't even think he would. Anybody that trains in a Martial Art tends to end up too strong to ignore the shit that people talk. I do muay thai and most of the people in the class are hard as fuck but they're too laid back. Some guy comes up to me and says "I could kick your ass", I'm not going to respond with anything more than a smile a nod and a "I'm sure you could." We keep our fight in the ring.
@comedicstuff You're welcome to come and test my reactions face to face. Anyway, I like the way you're trying to start an argument comparing MMA to boxing. I may as well go on NFL videos and tell them that rugby is a far superior sport. To answer your question, Sylvia has been out of shape since getting beat by Noguiera and is currently a fat mess who doesn't want to train or diet. I can't answer for Zuffa promotions either who do have a wierd title fight ladder.
How the fuck is rashad scared of jackon. JACKSON BACKED OUT THEN RETIRED THERE IS NO FIGHT NOW. U FUCKN RETARD. i hate fag rampage fans. theyve been watch nufc 4 2min. thik they knw itall.
That's just who he is man he not gonna try to act like someone he isn't....he's a funny guy.....We all know rampage isn't a coach......He's a Fighter.
I really thought rampage was cool and funny but tuf shows that he's just an asshole, he's blaming others and say he's not cocky and all, I'm losing my respect for rampage...
Im a rampage fan, but if he just shuts up and worry about coaching his fighters to get at least 1 win, instaed of making jokes or focusing on rashad he would be alright!!! Encourage your fighters after a fight instead of talking about another mans titties. Teach them how to pass guard instead of worrying about rashad. Focus rampage!!!!!
just watched episode 6 I actually used to like Rampage for his antics but he went to far with "Titties"if it aint funny no more u need to stop that shit man,and Tittis werent laughing.....he would have got whupped by Rampage but still Rampage pissed him off enough to step up to him....Rampage needs to check that attitude hes way to arrogant.Ill be rooting for Rashad.
You need to lighten up....ANYONE with a sense of humor KNOWS that was all in good fun...EVEN "titties" himself was making jokes at his own expense...Have you EVER been around athletes or in ANY locker room in your life? That's what athletes do...THATS part of the fun stuff..Athletes rib each other ALL the time.....Rampage ribs people.....and I'm SURe he's gotten tibbed on many a time in his career..Prob on this show...Keep in mind the show is edited..So theres no telling what we havn't seen or
or heard on the show...Just relax...It's funny stuff..Rampage's antics and ramblings are one of the best parts of this show...Titties...."big ass belly"..lmao....Etc..Etc.. Etc...You're too sensitive.
Proof UFC fighters are slaves to the sport they have no fucking freedom at all thats why Fedor doesnt want to go UFC its BS Dana has a shit system going.
You are totally right! Thats why the UFC has only over 200 fighters on their payroll! Dana should chill and then one day he could be like StrikeFarce and have like 20 guys on the roster?
well said scarecrow! Rampage dissapointed me too..Friends never left friends behind, doesn't matter if he loses or win...Episode 4,bad coach..very unpleasant individual...
Rashaad evans looked like a real fag when he mentioned Rampage leaving his fighter. Rashaad is going to get raped by rampage when they fight, this whole coaching bullshit Dana has them to is total crap. The fighters coming into TUF 10 should be thick skinned enough to take abuse from their coaches. If rashaad wants to baby them then he's a fool. Their fighters not some panzy ass dancers. All in all this really has nothing to do when they fight each other. Rashaad is garbage
rampage likes to bully people whereas rashad stands up for them. after seing tuf 10x4 i must say rampage is one of the worst human beings I saw on tv.
I use to be a fan of Rampage but I just can't respect the guy anymore. After going nuts after losing to Forrest, talking shit about Forrest losing, the A team nonsense...And now, the WORST COACH ON TUF EVER!
Are you serious Q? You don't even pick your man up when he loses?
i still a huge fan of rampage but i kinda have to agree with you, but the a-team thing i am starting to understand how it has to do with the relationship with his father and he wants to stay close to his kids, but before i found that was the reason i was pissed tho, but he could be a better coach if put forth the effort.
He has to be the worst coach in the history of sports -His jokes are childest silly ! the most unprofessional fighter in MMA ! Rampage, Take your narcissist ass to hollywood and stay there-
Did he really quit the UFC and fighing all together??? I love this guy and really wanted his fight with Rashad go down!!!! AND I heard he's playing Mr T in the A-Team movie... Is that really true!!
It's true, Dana White basically talked crap about Rampage Jackson pursuing acting, and eventually Rampage just quit. Rampage basically felt that he had sacrificed a lot for Dana White such as fighting chuck liddel (short notice), and Dan Henderson (short notice). So he felt that Dana White should at LEAST push the fight off until he finished his acting. He was also promised a title shot right after the ultimate fighter, but later found out that he had to fight Rashad first.
damn man, i love Jackson, hes funny.... you know alot of ppl say "oh man this guy is so stuipid" maybe he ain't the smartest guy around, but you know that's why i respect him so much. he knows hes not that smart, and that he can't get a job, so he put his physical abilities and now hes a fucking milionaire, thats why you gotta love the guy...hes the best i hope he knocks out rashad, but i dunno... wouldn't bet on it, it'll be a great fight though
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Maybe Rashad makes smart remarks because he is actually smart. How's that Mr. Jackson? Try going to school. You know that building where kids go to which has no cross on frontyard and doesn't say "baptist?"
It's so obvious rampage has been told what to say here. On the first or second eopisode, rashad and rampage and talking crap and almost smiling at each other, playfully like, and dana white come sin and says "Ok guys break it up. Man they want to tear each other to pieces." To make some drama, except it was a complete fail. Dana is a bitch.
Rashad has stated that both him and Rampage like to joke around with each other and that joking quickly gets turned into something else where they want to punch each other out. So no, your assessment is flat out wrong.
ufc was crap when pride was around, until 2007 when ufc bought it out, so yeah dana did really bring the sport to where it is. For you americans not for the rest of the world
I beg to differ... I'm in zero need of the US to live, eat or be happy. I work outside the US and for non-US profits, I buy clothes from europe, food from europe. Sorry but no, other than the UFC I have no dependence to the USA. Try again ;-)
al this shit with rashad and machida idont thin khe afraid of neither of them but i do believe that he had the chance to fight evans and machida but ducked them because he knew he would of got k.oed by rashad because before evans fought machida he was looking unstoppable. machdias came in rampage saw what happened to evans said no way. rampage just wants money without training his ass off, he doesn't want to be a fighter no more.
the most interesting talented big hearted and funniest fighter of the ufc is saying his goodbyes wow that sucks but i wish you the best man .Even if it hurts seeing you live like that but you deserve more respect and more appreciation anyway man thanks for all the intertainment you brought through out all those years and the hard fights you fought won and lost they were all memorable you will be missed rampage.
rampage retired yesterday. citing on going frustration with ufc president Dana White forcing to make this decision. I don't blame rampage. Dana ran him into the ground.
haha true i think rampage deserves some blame, but the ufc is like any other business like the nfl, nba, and boxing. its a american organization they wwant ratings and all this shit. but then again rampage on the other hand needs to ask himself, he wants to support his family he makes enogu as a fighter but decides he ratehr pursue a safer career, he doing the A-team he better do a good job on it for anyone hiring him to do any other movies.
Nope. He wanted to simply postpone the fight until after he made this "A-Team" movie. Dana White started to talk shit. Some other shit happen and he just up and retired yesterday. Read his blog on his website. I just think he didn't want to be a fighter anymore. He didn't want to be like Randy Couture, 40 and still fighting. His body was taking a beating too. I think he'll be back. If Dana convinced Tito to come back, I'm sure something can be worked out with Rampage. The fans love him too much.

Silva is a B+ fighter. A low ranking top 10 fighter that can be kicked out of the ranks any moment. Ryan Bader should fight T. Silva.
I am not a big fan of Rashad simply because his only notable win is against Forrest, who was overrated at that time because he beat Shogun.
Unless Rashad beats Shogun or even Rampage, I wouldn't call him an elite fighter. He is a top 10 fighter.

u know what i hate. when people talk shit on mma fighters.. i bet if u said that to his face hed knock ur ass out
VVarMachine5150 2 years ago 8
@VVarMachine5150 I don't even think he would. Anybody that trains in a Martial Art tends to end up too strong to ignore the shit that people talk. I do muay thai and most of the people in the class are hard as fuck but they're too laid back. Some guy comes up to me and says "I could kick your ass", I'm not going to respond with anything more than a smile a nod and a "I'm sure you could." We keep our fight in the ring.
ZeroMalarki 1 year ago
true enough, when you train in mma you have nothing to prove to anybody but only in the cage.
sammydee21 1 year ago
@ZeroMalarki - I'd wipe that smile off your face quick by pimp-slapping the taste out of your mouth! What would you do then???
comedicstuff 1 year ago
@comedicstuff You're welcome to come and test my reactions face to face. Anyway, I like the way you're trying to start an argument comparing MMA to boxing. I may as well go on NFL videos and tell them that rugby is a far superior sport. To answer your question, Sylvia has been out of shape since getting beat by Noguiera and is currently a fat mess who doesn't want to train or diet. I can't answer for Zuffa promotions either who do have a wierd title fight ladder.

Jztwrshp3 2 years ago 3
if u gonna dish it out first you better learn to take it to....
rukkk 2 years ago
just watched episode 6 I actually used to like Rampage for his antics but he went to far with "Titties"if it aint funny no more u need to stop that shit man,and Tittis werent laughing.....he would have got whupped by Rampage but still Rampage pissed him off enough to step up to him....Rampage needs to check that attitude hes way to arrogant.Ill be rooting for Rashad.
rukkk 2 years ago
I lost a lot of respect for Rampage tonight. He wouldnt lay off the dude calling him"titties".really showed a imature side of himself.
akbill2 2 years ago 3
You need to lighten up....ANYONE with a sense of humor KNOWS that was all in good fun...EVEN "titties" himself was making jokes at his own expense...Have you EVER been around athletes or in ANY locker room in your life? That's what athletes do...THATS part of the fun stuff..Athletes rib each other ALL the time.....Rampage ribs people.....and I'm SURe he's gotten tibbed on many a time in his career..Prob on this show...Keep in mind the show is edited..So theres no telling what we havn't seen or

Antonio865 2 years ago
You are totally right! Thats why the UFC has only over 200 fighters on their payroll! Dana should chill and then one day he could be like StrikeFarce and have like 20 guys on the roster?

vaibombar 2 years ago
Rashaad evans looked like a real fag when he mentioned Rampage leaving his fighter. Rashaad is going to get raped by rampage when they fight, this whole coaching bullshit Dana has them to is total crap. The fighters coming into TUF 10 should be thick skinned enough to take abuse from their coaches. If rashaad wants to baby them then he's a fool. Their fighters not some panzy ass dancers. All in all this really has nothing to do when they fight each other. Rashaad is garbage
Gyro911 2 years ago
rampage likes to bully people whereas rashad stands up for them. after seing tuf 10x4 i must say rampage is one of the worst human beings I saw on tv.
mazilin2 2 years ago 3
I use to be a fan of Rampage but I just can't respect the guy anymore. After going nuts after losing to Forrest, talking shit about Forrest losing, the A team nonsense...And now, the WORST COACH ON TUF EVER!
Are you serious Q? You don't even pick your man up when he loses?
Stay Classy Rampage.

vaibombar 2 years ago
i still a huge fan of rampage but i kinda have to agree with you, but the a-team thing i am starting to understand how it has to do with the relationship with his father and he wants to stay close to his kids, but before i found that was the reason i was pissed tho, but he could be a better coach if put forth the effort.
frickintony00 2 years ago
He has to be the worst coach in the history of sports -His jokes are childest silly ! the most unprofessional fighter in MMA ! Rampage, Take your narcissist ass to hollywood and stay there-
sleepingowl1 2 years ago 2
Did he really quit the UFC and fighing all together??? I love this guy and really wanted his fight with Rashad go down!!!! AND I heard he's playing Mr T in the A-Team movie... Is that really true!!
DrVegasIII 2 years ago
It's true, Dana White basically talked crap about Rampage Jackson pursuing acting, and eventually Rampage just quit. Rampage basically felt that he had sacrificed a lot for Dana White such as fighting chuck liddel (short notice), and Dan Henderson (short notice). So he felt that Dana White should at LEAST push the fight off until he finished his acting. He was also promised a title shot right after the ultimate fighter, but later found out that he had to fight Rashad first.
RainyRaver 2 years ago
yeah his playin mr t but i think his fight wit evans is just pushed back bcoz of the movie

Maybe Rashad makes smart remarks because he is actually smart. How's that Mr. Jackson? Try going to school. You know that building where kids go to which has no cross on frontyard and doesn't say "baptist?"
ElleMao 2 years ago
It's so obvious rampage has been told what to say here. On the first or second eopisode, rashad and rampage and talking crap and almost smiling at each other, playfully like, and dana white come sin and says "Ok guys break it up. Man they want to tear each other to pieces." To make some drama, except it was a complete fail. Dana is a bitch.
MrBananaMann 2 years ago
Rashad has stated that both him and Rampage like to joke around with each other and that joking quickly gets turned into something else where they want to punch each other out. So no, your assessment is flat out wrong.

MrChaos2424 2 years ago

matrixlone 2 years ago
rampage retired yesterday. citing on going frustration with ufc president Dana White forcing to make this decision. I don't blame rampage. Dana ran him into the ground.
MRjamesBrownJR 2 years ago
haha true i think rampage deserves some blame, but the ufc is like any other business like the nfl, nba, and boxing. its a american organization they wwant ratings and all this shit. but then again rampage on the other hand needs to ask himself, he wants to support his family he makes enogu as a fighter but decides he ratehr pursue a safer career, he doing the A-team he better do a good job on it for anyone hiring him to do any other movies.
AssassinsCreed71 2 years ago
is he still going to fight rashad evans
MrChaos2424 2 years ago
No, he quit fighting altogether.
LondonHyatt 2 years ago
