  • @808supersurfer I'm giving you a chance to explain yourself. Maybe you haven't checked your inbox, but if you want a chance at continuing to talk to me, you should really check your inbox and respond to the message I sent you. Otherwise this is it.

  • Thanks Uncle, I owe it all to Uncle Ozzie.

  • WHOA AWESOME!!!!

  • Thanks Brito, how's the slack key coming for you?

  • its coming along. Uncle Ozzie's book is like THE book if you wanna learn it and you are far from home. Do you think you are gonna go to founders day?

  • Eh, probably not. I'm kind of sick of that school already. Not the vision of Pauahi, just the people that run it now.

  • i heard you man. but yeah i am lovin the slack key cant wait to get on home to share with my ohana!

  • Great job Zack! I love paniolo slack key tunes especially those from Sonny Chillingworth. :-)

  • I'm getting confused with my replies, so I'm not sure if I replied to you, but if I didn't...Thanks :)

  • Good one Zack, that was fun

    Lee

  • Mahalo for the comment. It is a pretty fun song simply because of it's sound I guess.

  • Sounds good Zack. Interesting tune too.

  • It's "interestingness" is what got me to learn it :)

  • Zack - this is really nice. You know I have always praised you for your meticulous bass rhythms. And the country girl in me loves the paniolo songs. Thanks for sharing this.

    Me ke aloha,

    Auntie Wanda

  • Thanks Aunty, I'm trying to work on a few other songs now too, but it seems that Uncle Ozzie would like me to learn Pua Lilia a little more than the rest

  • It looks another challenging and sounds new. I now try to do this bass style watching your playing. it's so hard! You play very well:)

  • It is pretty difficult at first. Much like C6 the bass difference is what makes it tricky.

  • nice playing cuz very clean love da song

  • thanks, hopefully I learn another one soon :)
