  • Marion, just one more question: I have some gold colored pendants that I"d like to change to silver. Do u think I could use this technique to make the change? Would the embossing powder hold on jewelry ?

  • Wonderful, so wonderful! I've not done any crafts for over 6 month as I spent most of my time outdoors. Now u've inspired me to go back to crafting. Glad I watched your vid 1st as u're such a great teacher and make things look so easy!

  • Wow! Marion what a fab idea. Love it. Going to order some UTEE. Thanks for sharing.

  • Hi Marion, i was wondering does your utee make a mess at your craft place? cause when i emboss with the utee embossing powder always fly every where.

  • Yeah it does sometimes, but usually I emboss in a box or in a little bucket with a coffee filter inside so it doesn't blow everywhere. Maybe you should og outside and do it. I hate it when it gets everywhere and you can feel the grains on your arms and hands. Ugh it can be so messy but it's so worth it lol.

  • Amazing idea! Think I'm going to look for it in my local craft store, but they do not have all the products you have in America, it seems. I also love that mini album you are working on. I'm actually working on a mini with she same papers. They are so pretty!

  • Great!!

  • Ah Marion... Now I wanna go "METAL" around "FAUX"

a few minutes and make me a few of these!

  • If you don't have Ultra thick powder you can get the same effect by re-embossing several times while it's hot. You can also stamp designs on it while it's hot for a cool effect

  • did u hear about american crafts new heat gun? it PINK !!!

  • I love that effect!

  • so beautiful i just love that thank you so much

  • Marion - what an amazing idea.....love the antique look of this...I will be trying it out!!!! Thanks and hugs, T

  • How neat! What is that called that you sprinkled on it? Is it just a certain silver embossing powder?

    Thanks for sharing this.

  • It's platinum UTEE, and it's not the same as silver embossing powder, it's much thicker and it's actually not a clean silver color it's kind tarnished looking. I love this stuff!

  • that's great, thanks for posting
