I'd rather say its a Beatles song myself. If John were alive today, I'm sure he would have no problem with calling this a Beatles song. George on the other hand, would probably have some issues with My Sweet Lord being called a Beatles song. But Im thinking that John would be embracing the Beatles legacy at this stage in his life. thank you for posting.
@slythye2 exactly, he started as a beatles, and remains one today. as does paul, george and ringo. not to mention, this is a fantastic song, so thank god string quartet added it in, and very nicely done, i might add! :)
I was just thinking, "I wonder if they covered 'Imagine'" then saw this in the related videos. I squeeled. x3

John is still a Beatle, as George, Ringo and Paul and forever in our hearts! so no discussion to have, just listen to the music and enjoy!

Oh my goodness, really, we are having this discussion? No John Lennon, a Beatle, released it solo. I honestly don't think it's a big deal....

Imagine is not by The Beatles.

John Lennon right?

@RollingStonesDude
It's a tribute to The Beatles, and Lennon was one of them, even if this song was released solo.
