Rumsfeld was a private citizen at the time. He met with Saddam, like FDR met with Stalin. To win wars, sometimes you need to ally yourself with a scumbag in order to defeat a bigger scumbag. That biggest scumbag (at the time) was Iran. We stabbed 'em both in the back. Good riddance.

Actually, Saddam got most of his chemicals from Germany (51%) and France (21%). He also got most of his weapons from Russia.

hahahah 1 comment, nobody makes any comments because nobody knows whats going on here. For everyone who doesnt know anything about modern politics, its based on militarism and war profiteering, its manifest as a permanently subsidized industry. Its also known as A permanent Arms economy, and economy that is based off of military export to other nations via peacetime, or use of force, wars are not fought for freedom or justice, it is just a business transaction.
