One problem people have is that you have to drag and pull the lever on the upper/right. You can't click it a few times--you have to drag and pull it for some reason.

Do you know where to get all four plates for the printing press? Because I believe I only have three, and the printing press won't let me do anything. I thought there were supposed to be five in all, four with the little markings on them, and one has writing all over it. i have three with markings, and the one with writing.. if that makes sense.

When you get to the step in the jet pack instructions where you move the lever, be sure that you click, hold and drag the lever to the correct location. Clicking on the lever more than once to move it one notch at a time appears to make the jet pack explode, even if you end in the correct location. Again, make sure to click, hold and drag the lever in one move before unclicking the mouse.

You probably have to follow the directions on a piece of paper you find in a coffee table in the tower. Did you read those directions? They talk about looking up different books in the library. :)

Yep, you're doing it too early. The jetpack won't start until you make directions with the four printing plates you get from the stone ring puzzle, the weights puzzle, the sliding puzzle and the doll puzzle with the sheep.

Well, if you mixed up the red and yellow plates, you'd flip the yellow switch when you should flip the red one, and vice-versa. Then when you tried to start the jetpack, you'd explode.
