  • yes, thank u!

  • oh mine is a betta but my mom wont get a bigger tank......

  • Hoora nice vid. It makes me sick when I walk into a tropical fish shop and see fighters in old jam jars. Once seen I never buy from the shop.

  • ur stupid fish CAN be in bowls i watched this guys video b 4 this one, and he had a 20 year old carey goldfish in a bowl. IT LIVE FOR 20YEARS U STUPID PUSSY CAT!!

  • @EveryoneLuvzBetaFish Thats pure rubbish you fucking idiot.

  • @ollief9 it sure it, in fact a fish i've had in a bowl for 7 years was perfectly healthy, and happy if that. it would follow me around when i walked by, and would actually play too. it grew a good 2 inches in the bowl before it died from the water company. how do i know it was the water company? after changing the water it died, along with every other fish in the neighborhood.

  • @briansexybeast is* and im not even logged in the right youtube account. eff.

  • @briansexybeast How you knew that its happy?

  • Hi! So, whne you get a new fish and you have to quarintine it, what should we put it in as a temporary home?

    Thanks! :D

  • give me your fish bowl if your not useing it i cant find one like that anywhere they make perfect enviroments for my venus flytraps cuz they hold in humidity from watering it

  • Nice vid

    Keep it up

  • I have a fish bowl with one goldfish. It contains appropriate gravel, filter, plants and an air stone. My fish is 5 years old and perfectly healthy xD You can easily keep fish in bowls, just with the right filtration, knowledge and aeration.

  • @cocochipcookie Thats bullshit too. In nature and big aquarium goldfish can grow very big, but when you put it into bowl it stays small and suffers, although it does not die as its very tough fish. Shame on you stupid animal abuser.

  • @Pvjinflight sure in "nature" goldfish were meant to grow huge but i think it's a bit past them being wild fish now, they were bred in containers they are completely domesticated now, i never said my bowl was small, it;s much larger than many people keep goldfish in. Don't attack me because i know how to look after a fucking goldfish... my water quality is perfect, my filtration is perfect, water temperature, nitrates, plants and my gold fish is perfect and healthy, so please get over yourself

  • @cocochipcookie Well in big enough aquarium goldfish grows just as big as it grows in nature, if your conditions are ok and enough food of course. In a bowl it does not do that which means that they should not be kept in a bowl.

Also anyone who keeps goldfish alone, or in less than 100 liter aquarium does not really know how to look at it. Fishes should not be kept in a bowl unless its really huge.

  • @Pvjinflight yes but you say a goldfish shouldn't be kept in anything less than 100 litres, yet you are only criticising people who keep them in bowls. Go to any pet store and they will say you can have 1 gold fish per 10 litres, so take your problem up with the pet stores who sell hundreds of these goldfish and give out, which in your mind is, wrong information. Don't just attack someone if you don't know the facts.

  • @cocochipcookie Well in here Finland they say that one goldfish should have 100 liters, and we have one of the most developed animal laws in whole world. Actually keeping any fish in aquarium less than 40 liters is illegal here.

Pet stores mostly try to sell their animals, they care about money, not what happens to those animals after they are sold. Thats why they often can put that kind of information no matter how false it is as they will that way sell more.

  • @Pvjinflight i didn't say I believe this I know better, I just said its the information that is most widely spread here, I'm not responsible or irresponsible pet owners... Stop attacking me. And I don't control the animal welfare law here either. I cannot control about people take the advice of pet stores i was just stating it. Your problem is with the animal welfare and management sector, sign a petition if you so freaking bothered...

  • @cocochipcookie Yes yes, what I was just saying is that people should not blindly believe all information about aquarium size and such that pet stores tell, as their only goal after all is to make money.

In here Finland our biggest pet store company that has lots of pet stores around the country is pretty reliable in terms of information, but also even here still there is other smaller ones with not so good information.

  • @cocochipcookie Also 10 liters is like small hole, in nature that small amount of water would quickly evaporate because of the sun.

So please, just because your pet stores in UK spread rubbish information and you believe them blindly without using any common sense do not come to me and say that I do not know the facts. I know that bigger tank is always better, and that I would not put even water snail to 10 liters.

And Im waiting to see 100 liter fish bowl.

  • they only require 1 liter of water

  • @TheBettalover123 no they need at least 5 gallons period.

  • Ur darn right but what is the smallest u would keep a betta fish in

  • @Raby1239 I would say the minimum is 5 gallons. I have a five gallon tank and I think smaller would be too small.

  • why is the reccomended video some dumbo from expertvillage telling my how to set up a goldfish bowl?

  • my conicener clears ammonia and other diseases :P

  • fish don't belong in aquariums or bowls .. to tell the truth.

  • @EliasCrowe Yes, there is some debate over that. Of course, there are fish that cannot live in the wild any more because of how they have been bred. Then again, why should fish be caught as pets?

I agree both ways, actually. I just make sure my fish are happy and healthy :) thanks for watching!
