@xeikai well it is sneaky hidden since they never anounced this, only reason this was discovered was a letter sent to gamestop saying how they will get new codes to give to customers who buy pre owned copies. also i initialy thought the same thing theyre fighting gamestop but that theory is dead wrong since they keep giving gamestop exclusive pre-order deals, if they wanted to fight gamestop they wouldve said hey no copies of our game unless you give us a percentage of pre-owned sales.

They have to maintain a margin of good faith with them, cause lets face it, right now gamestop sorta has a defacto monopoly on used games, with bestbuy just now entering the market for used games as well. They cant just outright say 'Anyone who sells used games is not lisenced to sell our product. Many people dont goto target or wal-mart to buy games
