I don't really think they sound like the Smiths that much at all. They have their own thing going on. Kinda Smiths meets Jesus and Mary Chain meets the Buzzcocks meets The Ramones. This is a great band anyways. I like music because I think it's good... These guys are great and know how to write an amazing hook. I have no problem with bands playing great music influenced by great bands. If you do, you are lame and like things for the wrong reasons...

they are good, but absolutely nothing new. I appreciate that they are filling a gap that has been vacant now for urm...20 years maybe. I also appreciate that a band doesnt have to be 'new' and 'innovative' or 'different' just to be good. That said, they are nothing special.
