@TM8Eyla ehh... thats just around 300 pistons... we have 4 stacks iron blocks although we use iron all the time and we have more than a double chest full of slimballs... you only need a slime farm and some good mining tools, we get 1 stack iron blocks in less than 2 hours when we are farming underground.

you're lucky that i forgot to mention the 2x2 part :D

probably to make 2x2 work you should just ignore the 1/3 top part of the giant jungle tree, where branches are made, and use only the ones below.(it will require a lot of double and triple extendors though!)

Dumb question, but do you even need the wood blocks surrounding it? I don't think the jungle trees grow those wild crazy trees with a million branches... but I haven't exactly tested it myself to know for sure. Only reason I ask is that it may be possible to have it produce a shitload more sapling return if you don't need the wood stoppers (not that it needs it lol). Anyways, awesome find on the easier mechanics of jungle saplings to other types.

Umm, i may be an idiot for asking but why are there two piston columns that push the trees out? Can't you just do it with one? excuse my ignorance :P

@X3n0nFr33k That's what we explain at 2:20. The trees only grow if there is a 5x5 area around it where are no blocks except for wood and leaves (and a few more block types). If we would place the pistons right next to the trunk or only with a one block gap the trees would not grow.

One suggestion tough you might be able to modify GenerikB's auto-weathfarm concept, so have two dispensers which will give you one sapling/bonemeal on every pulse so you could just hold down rightclick to fill up the farm :)

Pease turn down your MC sounds next time you show something like this its really hard to understand you due to the piston/rain noises ;)

@DerDracoX I have already built a faster an easier version of this wheat farm. But it only works in single player because of the laggs in SMP. So we will probably not build it on the server.

@JL2579 How do you stop the branches of this tree breaking the machine. When I tried making it the leaves kept removing the top 2 pistons,( how high was yours). Also it seems when you grow it you have a 1x1 hole to grow it in. Thought jungle trees couldn't grow when blocks are near them. please help!
