I do believe that's L. Shankar's Double Violin. It made unbelievable sounds under L.'s fingers on Who's to Know? The gentlemen doing sounds seems talented. As for Gingger, did she actually play anything other than arpeggios on that amazing instrument? Kind of like using a Maserati to drive to the end of the driveway and get the mail.
@uncasist There are, as far as I know, only 2 double violins in the world. Gingger's is one of them and it is hers, not L. Shankar's who has his own. Gingger, L. Shankar's niece, has some accomplishments of her own as well. And, yes, she did play something besides arpeggios in that brief excerpt. It would be nice to hear the complete piece all the way through before judging it. Guess I'll have to do some searching around.
