(more spoilers) @CescaT96 In s3ep13, the water let Merlin talk to Freya, who told him that Excalibur (which he'd left in her lake) could be used to kill Morgana's immortal soldiers. With this he was able to get to the cup of life and save Camelot.

I honestly thought this was such a well written episode. During the Eye of the Phoenix, from start to finish, I really felt that they were in Arthurian times. Also the way that the bracelet was used in another way (to save the fisher king rather than killing Arthur) was amazing.

A truly great episode.

it really is one of the best scenes in all the episodes. The music is excellent as well: especially right at the end when the fisherking hands merlin the water.

This is the best scene from the whole three series so far! Second runner upped by the scene where Merlin read Gaius' sacrifice letter from the last episode in season 1. And third runner upped of course by the death of Freya nearside the lake.

All so touching!
