I saw her speak the other day...my class went to where she was and she made a very inspiring speech.

My friend was lucky enough to meet her AND for her to sign her book.

It was an awesome field trip and her speeches are very inspiring,

I read and finished her book 2 night. I've been reading it for the last couple of nights and I actually couldn't put it down. I'm 15 years old and I can tell you that it has such a big affect on me! It's such a eye opener and made me realize the things that go on throughout the world. She's a amazing women! Immaculée has been through so much but yet she's still very strong. I have gained a awful lot from reading this book. That anything is possible! to forgive like that's amazing!

I was so happy to find someone my age who read the book too, so I decided to write something !

The book is so inspiring;it brings me to tears everytime I read it. Immaqulee and her power to forgive is just...amazing. I found a copy in my school library, and I do hope more people would discover it. Sadly at school here we don't really focus on genocides and civil wars and all the nightmares that happened in the past;if you know the facts and dates, it's considered enough.

Oh I'm so glad that you did write back to me. It is very inspearing and I really wish more people would read it because there is so much truth and honesty in the book throughout. I really think that many people should consider reading it instead of just looking at the cover of it and saying "No no good" They really shouldent judge the book by the cover. Its an amazing book and I would recommend it to anyone.

I finished reading Left to Tell about a week ago. I am Catholic as she is, but have stupid little things that are going on in my life that are worthless compared to the love and forgiveness she has toward the murderers of her family. I have not met her yet but I will very soon.

I read Left To Tell this summer for school. It was an amazing book. Immaculee is my hero. She was so strong. Her book changed my life for the better. Immaculee you are an amazing person and I'm sorry you had to go through that. It just proves how strong you really are. You are a hero to all of us.
