And you idiots want something to prove what everyone already facing. So who will have someone go to hell, then know that since your
@rockie0708 Do you even know what a sample is?? He totally remade the melody of other songs to almost tonally match others art... It's not art if you've used others work, it's just being a prick... Timbaland can go to hell, and take his shite tracks with him.
Guys, read the description.. Try not to be like 90% of the retards on youtube posting before reading a vid's description.. It takes you 5 FUCKING seconds.. Damn!
i dont think people should sample because ...i like listening to the boring version and i have no life so im bitter towards every cool person out there
And all of this of him sampling peoples beats on occasion is a major issue because??? I mean come on everyone samples from someone. Whether it's an artist from the old school sampling off of a group or artist from the 60's or 70s or an artist from the late 80, 90s and 21 century sampling off of artists way before them. It's nothing major and nothing new. Rappers, singers and bands have been doing this since Hip Hop and R&B / Pop music was created. So what, he made it a hit everytime.
Its only a "hit" becuase of the artist who is on it. Because its the new jay-z, or alicia keys. That is the only reason its a "hit" and dumb people see the legal issue of him STEALING OTHERS MUSIC to be irrelevant. The interview with him talking about it is hilarious. He is a very unintelligent individual with absolutely no merit as an artist. Its not a sample if the entire song is stolen.
None of this makes sense. You can say he was inspired by salt'n'pepa and queen but the notes are different. The rhythm and basics of the tracks are the same but in the eyes of the law that's not stealing. The only thing one can do is not apreciate Timbaland for originality.

r u a foool , i work for timbalands label in england iv seen him make beats he is the inspiration of the beats he made danja and danja even said that inb a interview
Too bad all the songs were produced by Danja, who is Timbaland's protege. (look at the credits anywhere, it shows Timbaland and Danja but Danja did most of the work)
*I know the video is obviously a joke, but all those songs were produced by Danja*
So any two things that sounds VAUGUELY similar, suggest a rip off? Honestly, I dont get the impression that Timbalands rythms were taken from the so called originals based oon this compilation.
If this is so, then much respect to Timbaland for being so weirdly amazing for deriving the melodies from the oddest places. That in it self is inspiring.
Thanks and much respect to
happyicecream1234 for finding the originals.
That in itself is amazing. I wonder if people get paid to do this???

Haha, this is called "Sampling", a skill by which most of the greatest Hip-Hop beats are made, which are used by many amazing Hip=Hop artists. Now these days, not many people really have the talent to compose something which was easily done back then, so producers found another great way to make music. Some good producers are very good at composing (ex. Scott Storch), but many other just make those Soulja-Boy YOOOUUUUHHH BULL SHIT! Plus Timbland has very unique DRUMS.
Even if all those other famous rappers stole their music it doesn't mean that when Timaland does it, it's fine. I can't take 20 dollars out of an old woman's purse and then list 5 people who've done it before me to get off the hook.
exactly....tim isnt a thief. if you call tim a thief then call dr. dre, kanye and scott storch thieves. Scott storch uses many arabian and middle eastern folklore songs as a basis for some beats. Dre used a song by leon haywood to create nuthin but a g thang and kanye, well haha kanye would be here all day telling how maNY SONGS HE SAMPLED OFF OF
Welcome to the world of hip hop and rap. Also, those were no where near the exact same. They have similar beats, those weren't even sampling. You're so ignorant. Tim-man hears a beat he likes, and mixes it up, he's no copy and paster. None of that shit. If you listen to any music, it's going to sound like other music. It's called inspiration. Shut up and leave Tim alone. He's a fucking amazing producer.
sampling its like a remix with parts from original music... when sampling you give credits and pay for that... this "sampling" if i can call it like this is stoling
This is the thing. If a person samples and pays what's due to the ORIGINAL artist, then fine. Show them a tribute, by saying your music is great, and I would love to create something new with it. I think sampling can be very creative. But, when you go and say you created the whole damn thing, I mean the WHOLE thing. Then...that's just blatant stealing, and a slap in the face to the artist. And Timbaland has the nerve to say, he's too good, and who are they, where he needs to steal. C'mmooonnn...
lol - this isn't news - I think most people know that he interpolated "push it" into way i are. one of the reasons it was such a huge club hit. a lot of people love this track and don't really care - it's good music! LOL at the dick van dyk thing haha...
he used those ideas and remade em, alot of people do this, its like sampling.... but sampling is sampling, and remaking it urself are two different things so yeh lol
besides the salt n pepa and queen, the rest are a big stretch...and even the two similar ones are not note for note rip offs. i would call them homages/tributes..not stealing.
I also agree that the Salt-n-Pepa one is suspicious. The problem is; in music there are only 12 notes. Things will repeat. Example: 12 bar blues, 1-3-5 chord progressions. You cannot create something completely new. You can only do it differently.
