  • thanks one more time for your help!!

  • you should give examples

  • Thank you very mush for your lesson. They are the best.

  • Thanks for posting your explanation of the correct use of English pronouns. And it also really highlights how the English language is a gender segregating language. And how it propagates the festering wound of gender segregation and prejudice in society. The reason being that to merely think or create ideas and expressing them, the speaker creator of forced to use gender segregating language. I have heard of some languages that even go further, and require the use of age segregating pronouns.

  • @upcycle I really think you went off the deep end with your gender segregation analysis. You forgot to mention that there are instances in English where you don't have to specify gender as with the word idiot, which can be a male or a female. In Spanish, you have to specify gender El idiota. There is no direct correlation with what you're saying about differentiating between genders, or would you like to be called a woman when in fact you're a man (or vice-versa)?

  • @upcycle Perhaps in another lecture the topic of the history of gender pronouns, and how they developed in the first place and how they evolved from the time of thier creation. I am imagining that it was mostly a product of religion and probably was primarily rooted in distinguishing a group of people that created babies. And trying to categorize this group with others that looked similar to them.. like seeing someone with an afro and then categorizing all people with afro's as "black".
