Phillipians 4:13 does not mean you can DO anything. It means you can endure all things thought Christs strength. Look at the context of Paul's writing. This proof text is taken out of context to what and who he was writing too. He was talking about enduring suffering and having plenty just before this. It means any human can go through suffering and good times because it is CHRIST who gives the strength to do this. I do not however disagree with Christ living in us causing the following of God.
@supermutloc64 - How I would react if someone lied or cheated on me would be one of disappointment, and suspension of trust in that person. Same if someone stole from me, except I'd call the cops, too. I wouldn't care much if someone coveted items belonging to me. Seems most would like that, but I have little or no desire to have shiny, expensive things coveted by others.
As for the sabbath, we need firefighters to put out fires, doctors to treat injuries, police to protect property, etc. on the sabbath as much as any other day. Good thing we have no laws in America based on the 10 Commandments, huh?
@supermurloc64 - Thanks for asking. Sorry for the delay. I'll start by asking you in turn to consider the first 4 as well. I worship no god(s), so I don't worship any other god(s), nor idols. No one knows the Bible god's name. Considered too holy to speak aloud, the name was lost 3000+ years ago. YHWH is as close as we can get, but no one knows the proper pronunciation, so it's virtually impossible to use it vain. (God, Lord, All mighty, etc. are descriptions or titles not names) As for the sab
Why do xtians insist that the US was based on the bible? Or that at some point it was godly? This country was started by the merchants. It was an economic Product! The courts don't care about justice. They never did. It is a system based on MONEY. People hate and kill here for money... And I am just talking about corporations and pharmaceuticals. Wake up! It is one of the beasts of Revelation!
This is indeed an age of great deception, take Indiana for example, their State Capitol displayed a Ten Commandment monument that had the 2nd commandment removed, and it also had a graven image of the sun goddess of the Egyptians inscribed on the monument, all to convince the public that the State was supporting the JudeoChristian law, when secretly inside the Capitol they placed the image of their pagan fertility goddess, and declared her to be the State. Now you understand the deception of it
@stephenabm - the 10 commandments had absolutely nothing to do with America's Constitution, or our laws. They are religious laws for those of that religion. If you chose to abide by them, fine. Just don't try to impose them on me. That includes government property, too. Keep religion and government separate!
@CCnTaylor they probably are just religious laws but consider them for a moment. the first 4 commandments are for the relationship with God like don't worship other gods, no idolatry, and not using God's name as a curse word and sabbath the day of rest after nearly a whole week of work. Now there are the other 6 commandments the relashionship with people. I'd like to ask you howd you react if some one lied to you, cheated on you, stolen from you, or if some one coveted an item belonging to you?
With out Law where is the basis for YHWH's justice? How is YHWH just if there is no Law to justify? "I did not come to abolish the Law, but to fullfill it" It is because of Yeshua that we have grace and freedom from the bondage of the Law, meaning once we broke it, there was no way out of damantion. With YHWH's grace, when we break his Law, and in our heart are ashamed and sorry, we are forgiven. The logical way of looking at it is... why would we need grace if there is no law to break?
i disagree. the ministry of the law is ministry of condemnation. Your flesh is fit to be crucified at its best. the law is the power of sin. but what does the word saY.?? now the righteousness of Christ is being manifested apart from the law, by faith in Jesus. You are trying to put yourself under the very thing that killed you. search the scriptures.
I got a serious question. Why is the cross considered such a holy symbol just because Jesus died on it, when the long history of the cross repesented a old traditional method of execution for hundreds of thounsands of criminals? Remember, according to the scripture, two criminals were hung on the cross next to jesus. Is the cross a dark holy symbol or totally misleading? Also, why did the ku klux klan burn the cross. I need serious answers.
THE TEN COMMANDMENTS ARE ( DO NOT STEAL) BUT THE JEWS HAVE STOLEN PALESTINE ( DO NOT KILL) THE JEWS KILLED AND STILL KILLING PALESTINIANS AND MAKE THEM REFUGEES ( DO NOT LIE) THE JEWS ARE THE MOST LIERS DID YOU SEE THEY FOLLOW THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD
I ask you then, you who would have the laws of god in place of the laws of man, at what point does god become so abjectly despised for his laws that we stop believeing all together? Islamic law is a large part of the riots all over the middle east, many of those countries adhere to laws passed to them by their holy book. The punishment for adultery in the bible is death by stoning, in the secular world it is a divorce. The punishment for theft in the bible is death, working on saturday, ect.....
This Video is true understand thiss... It`s true i am 14years old i understand what`s video is this and the commandment of god... the 4th is missing in roman catholic commandment.
This Video is true understand thiss... It`s true i am 14years old i understand what`s video is this and the commandment of god... the 4th is missing in roman catholic commandment
The intent of The Commandments was not to confine us, although those who object to Christianity, do so for fear they would suffer loneliness or poverty.
Indeed, to pursue life believing you can do it without conscious faith in God, is loneliness, blindness, nakedness, misery, and poverty... never is there enough if you can not trust your creator's plan to build your wealth. "The Wealth of The World Is Stored Up For Those Who Trust God (a.k.a. The Righteous), ~A Word To The Wise~
I just want to say I am overwhelmed by the ignorance of so many people here talking about a subject which obviously they have no idea about... I wonder how many people dare to speak and comment about God, the Law and/or the Bible and haven't even read a single page in it... they must be Ophra's grandchildren!
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
For further study - Ephesians 2:1-10
What a truth - the message of our key verse in our reading today, verse 8. It is the grace of our wonderful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ - it is the grace by which we are saved. There was no work that I could do to be made pure, only the blood of Jesus Christ could cleanse me, and you, and make us whole.
@tegf4 Sorry for the second post. But if you think morality comes from YHWH, then you need to read your bible. Look up all 640 something laws. There are laws about how to beat your slave, not to wear certain types of cloth, how to stone your rebellious sons, all sorts of cruel, vile, and immoral laws "set by YHWH."
The Second Commandment forbids ALL images of the supernatural, both of false gods and of Jesus and God as well. This video features such images and thus this video is in violation of the Ten Commandments.
Imagine a world with out a loving god we would have sickness, wars, crime, evil, suffering, rape, racism, natural disasters, and we would have to care for each other and help our selves and it was up to us to make this mess a better place
If I 'created' something, I would have some decency to let the people be and NOT have their generations after generations get on their knees and kiss my ass!
Not to be a jerk or anything, but this is all just forcing your particular religion onto other people. These laws are meaningless because even without the 10 commandments of Yahweh, humans would still be moral. In fact only two of these laws are actually ok; don't kill, and don't steal, but those are universal. So your commandments are essentially useless. The rest are either gibberish or a way of forcing people into submission.
@shadywolf91 amazingdiscoveries tv Total Onslaught and see how much not meaningless laws these are. Watch all 36 201-236 and get the big picture of the world and you thing humans are moral. Not to be a jerk but it is true humans that have the absents of YWHA are evil.
@tegf4 First off; if you can't tell me what you are wanting to say, I'm not going to go look it up for you. Second your argument fails in that it says humans without YHWH (the correct English spelling of Yahweh btw) are evil. Humans with YHWH are "evil" as well. Crusades, Spanish Inquisition, Childhood Indoctrination, Exorcism and Faith Healing (instead of taking someone to a hospital), and many many more. To say morality comes from YHWH is a lie.
@shadywolf91 YHVH YHWH Yahweh Yahveh Yaveh Yaweh Jehova Jehovah Jahova Jahovah Yahova Yahovah Yahowah Jahowa Jahowah Yahavah Jahavah Yahowe Yahoweh Jahaveh Jahaweh Yahaveh Yahaweh Jahuweh Yahuweh Jahuwah Yahuwah Yahuah Yah Jah Yahu Yahoo Yaohu Jahu Yahvah Jahvah Jahve Jahveh Yahve Yahwe Yauhu Yawhu Iahu Iahou Iahoo Iahueh Oops so I typed an error. and so r u. oops. o well, you do not need to look up anything for me I do fine on my own. Sorry u r blinded. Laters.
I'm with Thomas Jefferson on this one: "Christianity neither is, nor ever was, a part of the common law". Obviously we need rule of law in order for society to function, but that doesn't mean that rule of law is somehow dependent on the ten commandments.
the ten commandments tablets have no place on SECULAR government property
you foolish hypocrites. you say you love america. do you love the idea of separation of church and state too? it is a founding principle of your "beloved" country which could go medieval thanks to buffoons like yourselves
Peace be onto thee and may the grace given be multiplied by your obedience onto they Laws of the Heavenly father Yahweh Exodus 20:1-17, Leviticus 11 and the teachings of Yeshua the Christ in Matthew 5-7.
i'm not afraid of judgement day, because it's an old wive's tale from thousands of years ago. i have nothing against christian people per se, just a problem with people using religion to scare and control (i.e. this video...)
you might benefit from seeing that "criminals on weed" (bob marley?) in my experience are overall more loving and open-minded than christians, not all but most of who support wars and spreading lies created eons ago to create power structure.
@ jack913579 I just want to understand one thing, why are you coming flaming on our videos ? Read on your dollar : In God we trust. America has some christian heritage. If you deny it simply to live a simple and easy live, go for it. It's better to get hurt right now then getting eternal hell. Keep people afraid of power ? Which power ! So you're saying that if I rape someone I shouldn't be afraid ? You have enough power on your own ? We're human, a very weak species.
@ZMAGD In god we trust was placed on paper money in 1954. We got along fine without it there for over 100 years. The national motto was changed fromn E Pluribus Unum to in god we trust the same year. The motto chosen by Franklin, Washington, Madison and Jefferson was changed. So much for original intent.
Ha... i love the scary music. christianity is obviously just a big stage act to keep people afraid of power.
and also: isn't it interesting how the video says 'imagine a world without law...' and then proceeds to show a slideshow of pictures of a world... with law. a world that is clearly in shambles, and is dangerous.
if there were no penalties for breaking laws, i would be completely at peace, because i don't need an almighty being in the clouds to keep me safe, i have enough power of my own
@jack913579 Trust me, if you put let Jesus in your heart, respect God's words. There is nothing to be afraid of. I just have one thing to say, there is one day that will reveal to this weak species the truth : Judgement Day. If you fear this day, that proves you live a life full of sins. So sending a full message of love is controlling people ? Hypocrits like you take an expemple out of the person practicing the religion, rather then taking the religion itself. You sound like a criminal on weed.
The ten commandments do not belong in courthouses, which are secular institutions.
They aren't particularly moral either. The first three are all 'Worship God, because he's needy and insecure and has rage issues, kind of like a bad boyfriend from hell who beats you and comes after you with a shotgun if you dump him.'
So yeah, good thing if they are being get rid off in places where they shouldn't be to begin with.
If they belong anywhere it's in a church and only there.
If you want to follow the law of the Old Testament (which they're located in), then you have to follow the ones that say you need to murder pretty much everyone who doesn't agree with you or do what you say.
Proverbers 29:18 is in reference to the laws that were established by Yahweh and the Israelites. The laws that no American could ever uphold without going to prison for Murder, Rape, Keeping slaves, Selling your daughter into prostitution and so on...
well, that is commendable, if youre not just saying that to argue. Other people would say you cant have a courthouse look like a buddhist temple, because that wouldnt feel fair. But then go and claim it should look like THEIR religious temple. And, lastly, most people who want the ten commandments there dont even know what they say.
So you would be perfectly fine with putting a statue of buddha in the courthouse, with writing above it saying you must leave fruit as sacrifice to buddha?
Correct me if im wrong, but i think its wrong for a Courthouse of Law to have a sign saying worship yahweh or die. Or that you must do a blood sacrifice on the sabbath, but not leave it out overnight. Or that all the best of my food must be brought to the courthouse, or whatever. People might, i dont know, confuse that with A LAW. It being a House of LAW. Im an american, you cant tell me to do someone elses religios rites if i dont want to.
The law doesn't say worship yahweh or die... it never says that in the 10 commandments anywhere. Frankly, nearly all of our founding fathers were theologians! They intended freedom of religious, obviously, but at the time, they actually meant freedom of religion within Christianity. Obviously I dont think christianity should be the only religion allowed, but I am just saying that America was founded on Christian principles and as a Christian nation.
yes, the commandments explicity say that. Its in the bible many, many times. And think about what you said, freedom of religion within christianity. Kind of an oxymoron, dont you think? Its the freedom to NOT be christian is precisely the reason you are free to be the christian you are now. Perhaps you are not familiar with places that have state-mandated religions, where THE GOVERNMENT is allowed to say if you are christian or not, if you are going to heaven or hell or not. Thats not freedom
where does it says that in the commandments, im curious.
and no, its not an oxymoron, because there are branches of christianity, and our founding fathers wanted to worship in their own brach. Nearly 82% of americans call themselves christian, our founding fathers were theologians and wanted to found america on God given rights.
"You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing children for the iniquity of parents, to the third and the fourth generation of those who reject me," oh, have you ever read Deuteronomy 13? And also, you are actually saying it should be a law to be christian? thats simply wrong
@mattwjohnston The founding fathers were mostly Deists the least devout form of Christianity. They hold very different beliefs then what contemporary Christians hold.
It is written in their personal diaries and in public of their stance against religious doctrine of any kind be established or promoted by government. They would be the ones opposing having these "Commandments" placed in public locations and state run facilities.
10 commandments are not moral codes at all, the first 3 regard worship and obedience. than to obey the sabbath which is no longer practiced by Christians and out of the remaining 6 only 2 of which are actual laws "don't murder and don't steal", we are left with not disrespecting you parents, not coveting you neighbors possessions "which includes his slave's in the bible" and finally no lying/adultery or bearing false witness. It's written in your first amendment "separation of church & state"ffs
Chocolate is also a symbol of 'sweetness, joy & childlike delight', so we stuff ourselves full of fat fertile eggs during this festivity to assure we are blessed with, not only fertility, but with sweetness, joy & child-like delight!
Time for my witchy bedtime prayers now! :-)
God Bless u, & God Bless all the lovely ppl on this channel. x
Another Christian tradition taken from Paganism is Easter. That's why the dates r so flexible.
This festival in Paganism is in honor of the Ancient Goddess Eastarte/Astarte, Goddess of Estrogen, the female sex hormone. (That's where the word 'Easter' actually comes from: Eastarte & Estrogen).
This is a 'fertility festival' symbolized by rampant bunnies: which symbolize a healthy fertile sex-life & brightly colored eggs, which symbolize the eggsof fertile female.
Easter, after Ishtar.. absolutely correct. Astarte, same person. In the spring time, new birth.. so far, in what I have studied about that day, I agree. This is what is behind easter. Though it has become a "Christian" tradition, it has nothing to do with Christianity. Reproduction, seems to go along w/ that theme.
Gosh! You do know your stuff, eh? You really read & research a lot. A true brainy one u are. It's very good to study everything, all religions, all perspectives. Reading & researching is the only way to learn about life & our world. :)
I've dedicated a week or three in understanding paganism and its origins. I am no expert, but have found a decent amount of information. I'm not done yet ;)
..In the bible.....there is a precautionary phrase concerning the female diety..." Come out of her my people". This pre-occupation with Ishtar, Diana, Venus is extremely old, going back to the Babylonian empire. The statue of liberty is homeage to her. Catholicism is big on female diety worship as I'm sure you know. The Corinthians were warned by Paul concerning her...some of the boys were taking thier mothers as wives. Lady liberty, mary jane, cannabis etc. etc. getting very popular.
Goddess Worship goes back over 200,000 years! Archeologists have found large Earth Mother Statues (u must've seen them) naked, large breasts, large belly. b4 Christianity every tribe on our Earth were Pagans. We all, at one time or another, worshipped the Great Mother who gave Birth to All Life.
Some decided later to worship a male deity instead & reject the Divine Feminine. They still do, eg. in some churches who disallow female priests.
......Our world is only 6000 years old...not millions or billions like they tell you on Discovery. Jesus created this world. Let me ask you this..were you a witch...before or after cannabis? Here is something that may intrest you. Google Vatican square....take a good look at the fountain...and let me know what you think about that. Intresting spin on the divine feminine thing.
"Come out of her ,my people"... Revelation 18:4, this is referring not to a diety, vachief, but is talking about spiritual Babylon. Though I agree, this does go back to the days of old Babylon. Old indeed. Interesting, about the statue of liberty. I had not heard that before.
....The false church is refered to as a whore. Spritual Babylon has perhaps more than one application. Female diety is the hallmark of the Roman church as well as the pagan religions it was designed around. They get thier "spirtualism" from drugs, just like the Egyptians. Check out the vids on DMT. The fountain in Vatican square is a depiction of the Amanita Muscaria mushroom, the one that super mario feeds on. Drugs liberate people, hence the title" lady liberty".
Correct, a whore, or harlot, you're right. Babylon means confusion. Remember the tower of Babel? The languages were confused, everyone spoke a different one. Confusion resulted. Spiritual Babylon is a state of spiritual confusion that God calls people out of. God wants all to come into His truth, no?
Is DMT the person's profile. It does sound interesting, the whole drug connection thing. I don't mind checking it out at all. I know the Egyptians were pagan, didn't know they were into drugs
..No...DMT is a drug. For years people had trouble decyphering the Egyptian frescos. It was'nt untill they made the drug connection that they began to see the spirtual application. Alexandria was a base for this kind of activity. Origen was a spritualist who monkeyed around with the old testament...and produced a corrupted book called the Septuigent. Unfortunately new bibles are based on this. The battle of Armagedon is a spritual war. Just type in DMT egypt , and you will see the videos.
Ha, well shows how much I know about drugs. I won't get the chance to for some hours still, but I'll try type those in here in yt. Egyptians were interesting. I know the concept of an immortal soul began w/ them too.. the whole bha and kha thing (probably spelled it wrong).
Origen, I'll have to look into that character some. Does not sound familiar. Armageddon, Doug Batchelor and Steve Wohlberg share many Biblical insights on that war.
...I think heiroglyphics have more to do with language...what I'm talking about are the pictures. Walter Vieth does a good job explaining the difference in bibles. Mr. Origen around 250AD made a Greek translation of the old testament Hebrew...he also mixed in a little theosophy as well. The bible teaches that man is a mortal being...false spirtuality teaches that your thoughts (consciousness) continues after death. This idea comes from Rome...they got it Babylon/ Egypt.
Oh ok cool, jus wanted to ask because I know that the rosetta stone played a big part in unlocking a lot of that Egyptian writing. The pictures though, I'll have to look that up later.
I may have to check out Walter Vieth's videos, though I rely on the KJV for most everything. I'm not a fan of many modern versions.
So, like the critical text.. influenced by philosophers in their own limited wisdom. (in regards to Origen).
Whereas March (Pisces) definitely seems more appropriate to his nature:
Pisceans are generally gentle, sensitive, calm, kind, giving, sharing, compassionate, non-judgemental, easy-going, & all Pisceans were born with the gift of intensely strong psychic & healing powers. Much more like Jesus, no?
In astrology those born on 25th Dec come under the sign of Capricorn, ppl who can be hard as nails, argumentative, quite cruel & arrogant. They can be charming but as the 'goat on the top of the mountain' is their symbol, meaning they can be unmovable, stubborn, overly-ambitious & money-oriented, their ideas, generally, can be most inflexible...
This Lord's day is not SUNday. Revelation 1:10 does not state a day. So, 2 find out what day is meant, u would have 2 read Isaiah 58:13, Matthew 12:8, Mark 2:28, & Hebrews 13:8. The Lord's day is Saturday, and that does not change. The verses will emphatically confirm this.
Also, the Sabbath was given to mankind, not a church. See Mark 2:27. It is for all of us to follow.
There is a difference from the book of the law, and 10Cs. The sabbaths we are free from r the book of the law ones.
I'd like to ask one of you intellectual Christians please: How come 'Thou Shalt not Kill' doesn't seem to apply to 'Wars'? And does it not apply to Capital Punishment either. How come there are 'exceptions' to these revered rules? Are these10 Commandment 'exceptions' in the bible? If so, where in the bible do I find those references?
To answer your last question, I have found no exception. The 10 are the 10, and breaking one of the 10 is like breaking them all (James 2:10, and is defined as sin (1 John 3:4.. It is not my belief that we can go to war and say its ok to kill. God said, "thou shalt not kill".
That's what I thought, RemixLatino: Any 'taking of life' is wrong. Even crims get their 'just deserts' without human intervention. But then those who believe like u are 'real true Christians'! :-)
Actually u are right about Freemason *authors* using the term. I'm also a Mason but resigned becos I thought it was all about High Ritual, but apart from 'Initiations' the rest of our meetings consisted of collections to giv anonymous donations of equip..etc. 2 childrens' hospitals, things like that.
It is. In the end, it is also my belief that we will give account to God about all the choices and actions we took in our life. I understand some people will argue and make their cases for war and killing etc. I like this verse in that case. "Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men." -Acts 5:29
Thanks :)
Interesting. I've never been a part of them, but have done a bit of research on them, and know of some people associated.
That verse is soooo true. Too many ppl, especially the recent surge of thuggish rightwingers against the President, who r obeying the slanderous lies of 'men' like Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage, Hannity, Dobbs.. Most consider themselves Christians!! I beg to differ. Jesus is probably shuddering with horror at this display of anti-Christian behavior in America. Not one of them is obeying God's law of peace, love & unity. Opting instead for demonic behavior which can only backfire on themselves.
I find it sad, how America has banned God from a lot. This nation was founded by those seeking religious freedom, who looked to include God, not push Him away. This nation forgot that.
About politics, man, I have heard so much from so many sides. I recognize some of those names. Hannity is interesting sometimes, I haven't heard much about the others but of them yes. I know Hannity has quoted Scripture b4. I would question his interpretation of some things though.
the antichristian behavior n all that.. well, this honestly shouldn't surprise any who are daily students of the Bible. God does have a message for today too, I have come to find out.
But yeah, back to Obama and Hannity and all them.. this is how I feel about that. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. -Psalm 118:8
Thank you, worldlastchance, for not deleting any of my messages. Most channels who are of differing views are cowardly & delete opposing views. You are courageous & genuine and an asset to your beliefs. God Bless u x
We shud all respect one another's beliefs/religions. If yor soul resonates with Jesus then u should b free 2 follow Jesus. If yor soul resonates with Buddha u should follow Buddha. If yor soul resonates with a Pagan Goddess then u should be free to follow Her. This world is filled with so many different beliefs, traditions, religions. If someone wants to worship a 'stone' it's their belief & they shud be given the respect & freedom to worship who they want so long as it doesn't hurt others.
Thankyou for this video in a world that is completely blind to GODS truth its good to see the light shine...there are very few out there.....GOD bless
There is like millions of Christians and other God followers in the USA. It's a shame that all these people couldn't get together regarding of doctrine to stop the government getting the 10 commandments out Virginia. Where is the power and the authority the God give you and where is the power of brotherly love. Why does religion segregate people. All you people need to wake up, don't just talk, but act on your believes. Anybody can talk because talking is cheap and easy.
Hel was the NAME of the Ancient Goddess of the Underworld. When people lacked foresight in ancient times, the Elder of the Tribe would say: "You need to go to Hel." Meaning 'You need to go to the Goddess for some Lessons in Wisdom." The Christians transformed a beautiful Goddess of Wisdom into a 'place' full of fiery furnaces & nasty characters. A lot of traditional religions stole customs from the Pagans. Even the jews call their god 'Adonai', which comes from the Greek God of Love...Adonis!
If you don't know in your soul it's wrong to steal, betray, murder...then you have a problem. We're not stupid beings. We know when we are hurting others, mentally, emotionally or physically. We don't need 'tablets' to tell us. Besides, these tablets haven't stopped the unfaithful-ists; nor murderers, nor thieves. And many in our great civilization now 'covet' their neighbour's car, house, wife, clothes, shoes... We need to look *inside ourselves* for answers', not outside in the external world.
Mythological stones can't define law! This story was invented to keep everyone 'in line'. However these 'laws' are very dated for 2009! In the U.S people are waking up to this fact now.
In UK only 6% of British kids between the ages of 11-16 can recite the 10 commandments. British kids are baffled by the language used: words like 'covet' leave them completely perplexed!
I think it's up to our own personal concience to be a good person in life; loving everyone equally & helping the vulnerable.
What about psychopaths, sociopaths, criminals, deviants, paedophiles, rapists, people with chronic mental or emotional disorders who are following their own conscience, with no feeling of guilt, seeing people as an object to their own selfish gratification? Is that ok for them to follow their own personal rules of conduct? If there is no Law,then they are not guilty.
TheUmboMan for those you mention we have 'Criminal Law'! Which is appropriate for our society. I'm not saying we should live in a 'lawless society'! That would be Chaos!
I'm talking about our personal principles & values. We shouldn't *need* ancient myths to behave & live decent human beings. I'm sure Jesus didn't live according to 'rules on tablets of stone', but according to his own conscious, his own good heart. Those who follow myths to the letter can become fanatical & non too pure.
And that is exactly the right mindset. But you see, that "ancient law" is not something to be stayed that way. It applies now as something to be written on our hearts. The Ten Commandments are not written on stone, but our hearts. Even the Old Testament says this.
I think we each are responsible for our own behaviour, thoughts, words & deeds in Life. It's too easy for christian criminals to 'blame the devil' -- "He made me do it"; or muslim criminals to be a 'martyr for allah'; or fanatical jews 'killing in the name of god'.
I am a practicing Witch & healer & our only Law is 'Do What thou Wilt--but Harm None'. That's a wonderful Law! That places all responsibility & choice in our own hands! And that's Freedom!
witchwild, "do what thou wilt" sounds like something straight out of freemasonry. I'm not saying thats what you are into, but I'd be careful with that.
Also, about being a practicing witch, there are verses that would not encourage that. I'll share one below.
9 When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. 10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, 11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. 13 Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.
RemixLatino, 'Do What Thou Wilt But Hurt None' is not from Freemasonry. It comes from the Mystery Schools of Ancient Egypt.
I don't acknowledge the bible, or the christian god, as I worship the Great Goddess, Mother of the Earth. I am my own judge, so 'verses' would b wasted on me. I respect those loving true christians, those who do not judge & condemn others 4 their differing beliefs or try 2 'change' them! And altho we do not share the same beliefs I still send u all God's Blessings!
The Egypt thing does sound familiar. However, I know that well known freemason authors do incorporate that saying, whether original to them or not. I can find you the author if you wish.
It is not the place for any of us to judge any other. Every1 has a choice. It is interesting, what u believe, about being your own judge etc. I do respectfully disagree. You seem genuine, thats cool. I hope 1 day u can gain an interest in the word of God. There is much hope there.
RemixLatino, u are right about it not being anyone's place to judge others. 'Judge not, lest ye be judged' says it all.
On being the judge of my own conduct -- I know right from wrong. If I'm bitchy to someone I immed feel bad & apologise. If I see something I want I save up 2 buy it. I don't think 2 *steal* it!
If I'm 'murderously mad' at someone, I walk away. Any challenge I'm presented with I see as a Life's Lesson & follow the 'right' path of my own conscience. God Bless u x
Correct. In Matthew and James, and more, there is much to show judging is not encouraged.
Thats an interesting perspective. Its interesting also that what you mention relate to the 10Cs.
Conscience. Sometimes that little voice that we are not doing the right thing, is what the Bible teaches to be the Holy Spirit. But, I know.. you have your own set of beliefs.
Yes that 'little voice' we all occas hear is also called conscience. However just as the Bible teaches Christians that this voice is the voice of the Holy Spirit, in Paganism we hear this voice as our 'Higher Selves', 'Our Wise Selves', 'Our godly selves', 'The Spirit of Love' or the 'Spirit of our Eternal Beings'... Same principle, really.
Wow! When we put differences aside, & listen to each other rather than fight, we realize that we are not really that different after all! ;-) God Bless u x
Yeah, tell me about it. I know several people that become absorbed completely in differences. While I agree with the way you are thinking, I do need to say I believe what I do for a very, very strong reason. Prophecies of the Bible fulfilled to the letter, on time. When looking into the past? Some people say this didn't exist, or that city is made up, or that king this.. sure enough, archeology always digs something up to prove the Bible is on point. While I could go on, I'll jus say...
The Bible is definitely no ordinary Book. There is a part in John 10:35 that says Scripture cannot be broken. Though sometimes much time has passed by to "prove" something right in the Bible, sure enough, it always happens one way or another, whether related to health, science, life, anything ;)
It is good to focus on similarities and get along with all. These type convos can help people learn much.
You know.. I had been looking and researching a little, and it is common, on differing civilizations of different times even, that there is a tendency to believe in a higher being. Now, from there after, will come the differences as to who and why and what etc. But that is something common. These days people like to worship celebrities. Though they will not call it that, but who are we trying to kid.. thats exactly what people do these days. There is that tendency. If you get a chance to..
come across a DVD called The Cosmic Conflict, I would encourage you to watch it. It may talk about some things that may have come across your mind, possibly :) The DVD is from AmazingFacts. Not sure if you have heard of them or not.
So true!! They worship Paris Hilton & Jordan in England, & Beckham & Posh Spice. It's sickening. They're even changing their bodies at 14 years old to look like Pam Anderson! Tho' we all love artistes & singers & bands, many youngsters nowadays really do worship these 'stars' to excess!
Yeah, its pretty sad. You're on point w/ those examples. There is always that tendency, to worship. We'll never hear that term used that way for those celebrities though lol. But yeah, people become really absorbed w/ that.
Yes, true. Since the beginning of time humans have believed in Higher Forces, & we all instinctively know there *is* a Superior Power: The Goddess, God, Cosmic Force, the Godhead, the Supreme Spirit, Allah, Jehovah, some ppl (like scientists) call it simply 'Universal Power'...But it's the invocation of this Power that's important, & what we use it's assistance for, that counts. The most inspiring is when we invoke it for our Highest Good & 4 the Highest Good of others...blessings x
Yup yup. Can I ask you something again? No offense intended, I'm a curious person though lol. To different people, they will look to a different "god", whatever form or origin it may have. Egyptians had theirs, as did the Babylonians, Greeks, Romans.. always.
Do you think it is possible to show there is only one God?
In my belief-system, I have a Deity for seperate circumstances: To protect my computer from bugs, I say a little prayer to Mercury, every day, b4 loggin on, cos he's the God of Communication. If a friend has a love problem I invoke Aphrodite, Goddess of Love for assistance. If I want to heal someone I invoke the Earth Mother Demeter. If I need courage I call on Ares, god of Courage. Rather than 1 Deity for all things..we have a number of goddess/gods for each issue in life.
My Deities are Ancient Greek, Ancient Egyptian, Babylonian, Celtic, African, Haitian. I also invoke Angels (the Archangels are my 'best friends' :-) I also invoke the Elements: air, earth, water & fire. We harness *ALL* the powerful forces of Nature cos we believe there is energy, life & a vital essence in every living thing, which includes stone, rock, mountain, trees, flowers, water, the winds, the stars, moon & sun....So we worship all of Nature, becos we r part of Nature.
You mentioned an archangel. Can you define what an archangel is to you? I also have a definition for that term. This part drew my attention. I'll get to why after, if thats fine, unless you are curious now.
So, you worship many gods for different reasons. I have a question, as you mention many ancient civilizations. Do you know who Nimrod was?
An Archangel to me is a Being of Supreme Light that has never incarnated in human form (as some regular angels have). I believe Archangels are Direct Messengers from the Divine Source. They are Superior to Earth forces & the forces of Nature, becos they are made of Pure Light. They Guide & Guard all in Nature, incl. us, with their beautiful magical wings & swords of Protection.
Nimrod? Does ring a wee bell...but offhand not sure...who/what is Nimrod? I'm intrigued :-)
In short, because I think maybe (to respect the topic of the poster's video [w/ these comment length limits may be better to message]).. but yeah, in short, Nimrod. Ok, I have found, that if you trace every pagan God, from every civilization, from Ra, to Zeus, to ... well the list goes on. If you seek an origin, it begins with Nimrod, whom I have found to be, the original pagan god, of the sun. And his wife, she was later converted to the original goddess. I can explain better in a message.
Nimrod, is also in the Bible btw. Not as a god though, but as a very mighty warrior. The first it appears. His son, Tamuz, also comes into play w/ all that.
But yeah, that is a new perspective for me. Thanks for sharing.
Archangel, is defined as a chief of angels, or prince of angels, So, One over the angels. I believe it is one archangel (chief of angels), and that this archangel, is Jesus, who is also God. I would need more space than this to explain that one too lol.
"..to show there is only 1 God?" One's 'god' is a very personal thing. If u feel in your own heart there is only 1 god yor devotion is directed & focussed on yor 1 god. 4those who choose many deities that 2 is just as valid & as sacred. Religion is a deeply personal thing. Very intimate indeed. The God you love & worship loves u just as much, & the Goddesses I love & worship love me just as much. The Eternal Power lives inside our Hearts. It's better to 'know' than to 'show'. :-)
Interesting again. I have more questions, if thats ok lol. B4 that, if I understood right, you believe it is not possible to show there is only one God, correct?
I will not choose to focus on this, but I am curious. Do you believe there is a devil, trying to deceive and separate people from God?
Another question. Do you believe that the God of the Bible, Jesus, will one day return?
I hope these questions are ok with you. If you dont mind, I have more, depending how you answer these.
Of course, its okay! :-) Questions are a sign of a bright intelligent mind! It's when we *don't* question that we are left behind in ignorance & our spirit stagnants.
On similarity to Buddhism (no offence taken) :-) as Paganism is very similar 2Buddhist philosophy. Right behavior, right conduct, right thoughts etc. We're also influenced by Hinduism: meditation, visualization, etc.
I believe any religion that instills Goodness & Honesty into the hearts of its followers is a good religion.
Yeah, some of what you had explained reminded me of Buddhism. Hey, I spelled it right this time lol. Hinduism, I am aware of what that is a bit too, but, I don't get some things about it. I mean, I see it, but wonder why still (for some things). So, yours you could say is a mix, sorta kinda.
Yeah, asking questions is good. I like asking questions lol. I don't always though. I can tell it puts some ppl in an uncomfortable position, w/o intention of doing so :/
I do believe it is pretty difficult to 'show' their is 1 god. But so long as u & yor God are united in Love that is all that really counts. Even in 'relationships' it's like trying to 'show' your lover u love them. It's better when they just 'know' in their souls just how much they are loved by u, then u trying to constantly 'prove' it. If that makes any sense...
Pagans don't believe in 'The Devil'. History says the concept of ''The Devil' was 'invented by the church to keep ppl in line'. But I do believe negative entities, demons & dark shadowy malevolent spirits exist. It's just that they are not a part of my 'aura', as such. Negative dark forces r not welcome in my psyche, my home, my Rituals, my temple, my reading matter, my life..So I never think, talk, read or write about them. I only invoke the names & presence of Forces for Good.
Not a devil, but I do believe there r very dark forces at work: money, greed, aggression, superiority, hate, racism, sexism, homophobia, competitiveness, war-mongering, celeb-worship, etc.
that are taking the Pure Soul of humans further away from true spirituality & human goodness. Ppl r very self-motivated, self-centered nowadays. They r filled more with the spirit of ego than the spirit of any Divine Deity!
Will Jesus return? If he promised Christians he wud then he most certainly will! We Pagans c Jesus as an Ascended Master--One who is highly evolved, connected to the Divine, an Ascended Spirit.
Do u believe Jesus ascended, literally, physically, bodily, up into the air, after the crucifixion?
Funny, used 2 hear the soundtrack to this vid as sinister & ominous! But since chatting to u it's now been tranformed into a powerful piece of lovely classical music! That's how Magick works! :-)
Or Alchemy: Turning base metals (my pre-conceived perception of this 'sinister & ominous' music) into Gold (now wanting to ask worldslastchance the name of the album of this gloriously wonderful track!) :-)
He did promise :) Ok, more questions. Seems those may not end for a good while lol. As Jesus did promise He would return, and you did not reject that it would happen directly, where might that put other gods/goddess?
Yes, I do believe Jesus is connected to the Divine, but that He Himself also is equal. I myself would not say highly evolved though.
I believe He ascended to heaven literally. Not after the crucifixion though. 40 days after, if I remember right. He remained here during.
I would like to check back though, b4 I tell you with complete certainty it was that amount of days, but I am certain, in believing the Bible does not say He ascended to heaven immediately at His death, nor did He ascend after He was raised on the 3rd day (or 1st day Sunday).
The soundtrack lol. Well, I mean its cool I guess. It sort of builds momentum as points are made. Idk if I like it as much as you do though :p lol.
If Jesus came back, or should I say *when* he comes back to this Earth, he will be teaching, praying & hanging out with his followers. He will not be judging those who choose to believe in other dieties, as the first time round he never judged others, so why should he be judgemental on his second coming? This world is huge enough for all our beliefs & customs. He'd probably smile & send all his Love to the Goddess. :-)
I can understand why this would be your answer. If you believe Jesus will return though, should you not also believe in the manner of His return and what He says He's coming back to do? I mean, that seems like a nice situation described, but the word of God says very differently actually. It is not at all a bad situation, however.. yes, different. New question I've always wanted to ask someone. If one believes in Jesus, should they not also believe in His word completely? Jus curious :)
I believe Jesus to b an Ascended Master. Mahatma Gandi & Mother Terasa r also Ascended Masters: those who put others before themselves for their beliefs; & love others with such purity & unconditional love they bcome pure Beings of Light. In the Gnostic Gospels Jesus says to those who call him 'The Only Son of God': "I am not unique. We are ALL sons & daughters of God. We are all equal in the eyes of God." The church left those words out the bible. Why?
Where can it be shown that Gandi and Teresa have ascended?
The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. -Psalm 12:6,7
God has preserved His word through the ages. Because of this, I do not believe there has been something left out of the Bible.
I am not familiar w/ those words. That He is not unique, I could reference a few examples to y He was.
'Ascended' to Pagans has a different meaning to the Christian meaning. When we say Mother Theresa, Jesus & Ghandi are Ascended Masters we mean they have, in effect, *transcended* the 'earthly spirit'. Rather than become a 'normal everyday spirit' when they Pass from this Earthly realm, as most of us do, they become Higher Beings of Light who immediately join the Light of the Divine when they Pass. They become 'Angelic Workers' of the Supreme Spirit, in a way.
Hmm, a different interpretation of the term spirit. In the Bible, the word spirit is defined as the breath of life that God gives. When He created man, He breathed the breath of life (spirit) into him and he became a living soul. See Genesis 2:7 in case u wanted to verify. There are other references in the book of James and Job to the spirit being the breath of life. Even king David wrote about that. Interesting, though I can't say surprising really. Many churches teach something similar.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:1-3,14
This is referring to Jesus. Its hard for me to see Jesus as an angelic worker of a Supreme Spirit when the...
declaration that Jesus was always existing and is God, and that it was through Him that all was created. How do you feel about those verses (John 1:1-3,14). I know, I know.. you do not really go by the Bible and Bible alone. I know that you do have respect for those who do go by it. I ask though because though you mentioned Gandi and Teresa, you included Jesus in that mix. The purpose of the Bible is to reveal Jesus. You can see this in Luke 24:44 for example.
Our interpretation of 'spirit' is: our 'astral body', our consciousness, our 'energy-body', which continues to live even after our psychical bodies have perished).
Then we have 'The Spirit', or Supreme Spirit, or Divine Spirit-- which we Pagans revere as the the Breath, the Being, the Energy, the Light, the Pure Essence of the Divine.
....That is the very first lie.....when Satan said....." Don't worry you won't die....if you eat this, you can be just like God" And of course because of thier sin they died. When you die .."your thoughts perish"
Only if u are a thoughtless being in life do your thoughts perish after the body dies. U get what u expect after physical death.
Our 'thoughts' define our consciousness. Awareness is consciousness. Being spiritiually 'awake' is consciousness. Those spirits after death who are *not* conscious, whose thoughts 'perish' along with their bodies, are usually known as 'restless spirits' or 'lost spirits' -- not a good place to be.
I see. So, you do not believe in death then, so to speak. Because at death, you still live, or something like that? Where do you believe these spirits continue to live? Do you believe a spirit to have a personality?
Pagans only believe in death of the body (the vehicle of the soul). The spirit lives on but where it 'goes' depends on us, on how we evolve here on Earth. Sum have to return to earth 2 a new body if Life Lessons havn't been learned. We only return to the Divine Light when we ourselves are a *part* of that Light--a loving compassionate happy & fulfilled being with no hate, no negativity, no dark thoughts, no fears. Our personalities are the same. We r still 'us' but w/out our bodies.
If you return to the earth from a new body, how come no one really remembers that? I can honestly tell you that I know for certain I have been in no other body before. Another question I have come across in studying this death topic.. Would it not be torture for a departed spirit of a person (supposing it had a personality, the Bible teaches there is no personality in a spirit but that it is the breath of life from God, that thats what goes back to Him) but would it...
... not be torture for someone to depart in another form, and then be able to look back at the suffering of this world? What if they saw a son die, a daughter become paralyzed after a car accident. If they watch a brother commit suicide or a spouse become a drunk because that person had died or for some other reason. If I died, and lived on to know this.. I would not be happy. And these things happen around the world daily, no? What if it was different?
I had also come across this equation some time ago. I won't explain it too much now but, I would like to know what you think about it :)
Ok, the formula is body+spirit=soul. It can be rephrased meaning the same thing in saying dust+breath of life=you or me alive.
If the spirit is taken, there is no soul.. the body is dead. Or, kill the body, the spirit (breath) returns to God who gave it, and again, no soul. Another way to say it is the soul is the sum of a body and spirit. So, I'm a soul
.. and you're a soul. While someone is alive, they are a soul. You may have heard the expression "there was not a soul"....(who was early etc) in referring to people. Maybe maybe not, idk.. but yeah, ok final example :)
Got 2 materials. Wooden boards, and nails... If you put the wood together in a square, and nail them together, you have a box. As soon as u remove either the nails or the wood, there is no more box. The 2 are necessary.

CCnTaylor 3 months ago

Every time you see the word 'commandment' in the bible it is not automatically referring to the 10 commandments.
The entire bible is FOR us, but not TO us.
The editing in this video is very good.

CCnTaylor 6 months ago

The logical way of looking at it is... why would we need grace if there is no law to break?
kdstyles 7 months ago
i disagree. the ministry of the law is ministry of condemnation.

Ephesians 2:8
Thank you Jesus.

I'm with Thomas Jefferson on this one: "Christianity neither is, nor ever was, a part of the common law". Obviously we need rule of law in order for society to function, but that doesn't mean that rule of law is somehow dependent on the ten commandments.

Yes, true !
We need the restauration of the Law of God.
But this world is filed with corruption and lawlessness !!
For this reason, the Judgement of Christ will hit the earth shortly !
philippeclement 1 year ago
I appreciate this dialogue.
i'm not afraid of judgement day, because it's an old wive's tale from thousands of years ago. i have nothing against christian people per se, just a problem with people using religion to scare and control (i.e. this video...)
you might benefit from seeing that "criminals on weed" (bob marley?) in my experience are overall more loving and open-minded than christians, not all but most of who support wars and spreading lies created eons ago to create power structure.
jack913579 1 year ago
@ jack913579 I just want to understand one thing, why are you coming flaming on our videos ? Read on your dollar : In God we trust. America has some christian heritage. If you deny it simply to live a simple and easy live, go for it. It's better to get hurt right now then getting eternal hell. Keep people afraid of power ? Which power ! So you're saying that if I rape someone I shouldn't be afraid ? You have enough power on your own ? We're human, a very weak species.
ZMAGD 1 year ago
@ZMAGD In god we trust was placed on paper money in 1954. We got along fine without it there for over 100 years. The national motto was changed fromn E Pluribus Unum to in god we trust the same year. The motto chosen by Franklin, Washington, Madison and Jefferson was changed. So much for original intent.
BiffWhitebread13 1 year ago
Ha... i love the scary music. christianity is obviously just a big stage act to keep people afraid of power.
and also: isn't it interesting how the video says 'imagine a world without law...' and then proceeds to show a slideshow of pictures of a world... with law. a world that is clearly in shambles, and is dangerous.
if there were no penalties for breaking laws, i would be completely at peace, because i don't need an almighty being in the clouds to keep me safe, i have enough power of my own
jack913579 1 year ago

Also, they were removed for a reason.

Proverbers 29:18 is in reference to the laws that were established by Yahweh and the Israelites. The laws that no American could ever uphold without going to prison for Murder, Rape, Keeping slaves, Selling your daughter into prostitution and so on...
kenshin304 1 year ago
ok, so thats five....
grendelee 2 years ago
well, that is commendable, if youre not just saying that to argue. Other people would say you cant have a courthouse look like a buddhist temple, because that wouldnt feel fair. But then go and claim it should look like THEIR religious temple. And, lastly, most people who want the ten commandments there dont even know what they say.
grendelee 2 years ago
So you would be perfectly fine with putting a statue of buddha in the courthouse, with writing above it saying you must leave fruit as sacrifice to buddha?
grendelee 2 years ago
ummm, indeed they do. have you read the bible?
grendelee 2 years ago
Correct me if im wrong, but i think its wrong for a Courthouse of Law to have a sign saying worship yahweh or die. Or that you must do a blood sacrifice on the sabbath, but not leave it out overnight. Or that all the best of my food must be brought to the courthouse, or whatever. People might, i dont know, confuse that with A LAW. It being a House of LAW. Im an american, you cant tell me to do someone elses religios rites if i dont want to.
grendelee 2 years ago
@grendelee
The law doesn't say worship yahweh or die... it never says that in the 10 commandments anywhere. Frankly, nearly all of our founding fathers were theologians! They intended freedom of religious, obviously, but at the time, they actually meant freedom of religion within Christianity. Obviously I dont think christianity should be the only religion allowed, but I am just saying that America was founded on Christian principles and as a Christian nation.
mattwjohnston 1 year ago
yes, the commandments explicity say that. Thats not freedom
grendelee 1 year ago
@grendelee
where does it says that in the commandments, im curious.
and no, its not an oxymoron, because there are branches of christianity, and our founding fathers wanted to worship in their own brach. Nearly 82% of americans call themselves christian, our founding fathers were theologians and wanted to found america on God given rights.
mattwjohnston 1 year ago
"You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing children for the iniquity of parents, to the third and the fourth generation of those who reject me," oh, have you ever read Deuteronomy 13? And also, you are actually saying it should be a law to be christian? thats simply wrong
grendelee 1 year ago
@mattwjohnston The founding fathers were mostly Deists the least devout form of Christianity. They hold very different beliefs then what contemporary Christians hold.
It is written in their personal diaries and in public of their stance against religious doctrine of any kind be established or promoted by government. They would be the ones opposing having these "Commandments" placed in public locations and state run facilities.
kenshin304 1 year ago
10 commandments are not moral codes at all, the first 3 regard worship and obedience. than to obey the sabbath which is no longer practiced by Christians and out of the remaining 6 only 2 of which are actual laws "don't murder and don't steal", we are left with not disrespecting you parents, not coveting you neighbors possessions "which includes his slave's in the bible" and finally no lying/adultery or bearing false witness. It's written in your first amendment "separation of church & state"ffs

This is a 'fertility festival' symbolized by rampant bunnies: which symbolize a healthy fertile sex-life & brightly colored eggs, which symbolize the eggsof fertile female.
witchwild 2 years ago
Easter, after Ishtar.. absolutely correct. Astarte, same person. In the spring time, new birth.. so far, in what I have studied about that day, I agree. This is what is behind easter. Though it has become a "Christian" tradition, it has nothing to do with Christianity. Reproduction, seems to go along w/ that theme.

Gosh! You do know your stuff, eh? You really read & research a lot. A true brainy one u are. It's very good to study everything, all religions, all perspectives. Reading & researching is the only way to learn about life & our world. :)

..In the bible.....there is a precautionary phrase concerning the female diety..." Come out of her my people". Lady liberty, mary jane, cannabis etc. etc. getting very popular.
vachief 2 years ago
vachief:
Goddess Worship goes back over 200,000 years! Archeologists have found large Earth Mother Statues (u must've seen them) naked, large breasts, large belly. b4 Christianity every tribe on our Earth were Pagans. We all, at one time or another, worshipped the Great Mother who gave Birth to All Life.
Some decided later to worship a male deity instead & reject the Divine Feminine. They still do, eg. in some churches who disallow female priests.
Patriachy tried to stifle Goddess Worship.
witchwild 2 years ago
......Our world is only 6000 years old...not millions or billions like they tell you on Discovery. Jesus created this world. Let me ask you this..were you a witch...before or after cannabis? Here is something that may intrest you. Google Vatican square....take a good look at the fountain...and let me know what you think about that. Intresting spin on the divine feminine thing.
vachief 2 years ago
"Come out of her ,my people"... Revelation 18:4, this is referring not to a diety, vachief, but is talking about spiritual Babylon. Though I agree, this does go back to the days of old Babylon. Old indeed. Interesting, about the statue of liberty. I had not heard that before.
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
....The false church is refered to as a whore. Drugs liberate people, hence the title" lady liberty".
vachief 2 years ago
Correct, a whore, or harlot, you're right. Babylon means confusion. Remember the tower of Babel? The languages were confused, everyone spoke a different one. Confusion resulted. Spiritual Babylon is a state of spiritual confusion that God calls people out of. God wants all to come into His truth, no?
Is DMT the person's profile. It does sound interesting, the whole drug connection thing. I don't mind checking it out at all. I know the Egyptians were pagan, didn't know they were into drugs
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
..No...DMT is a drug. Just type in DMT egypt , and you will see the videos.
vachief 2 years ago
Ha, well shows how much I know about drugs. I won't get the chance to for some hours still, but I'll try type those in here in yt. Egyptians were interesting. I know the concept of an immortal soul began w/ them too.. the whole bha and kha thing (probably spelled it wrong).
Origen, I'll have to look into that character some. Does not sound familiar. Armageddon, Doug Batchelor and Steve Wohlberg share many Biblical insights on that war.
By frescos, you don't mean heiroglyphics, do you?
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
...I think heiroglyphics have more to do with language...what I'm talking about are the pictures. This idea comes from Rome...they got it Babylon/ Egypt.
vachief 2 years ago

What's your view on Jesus' actual birth date?
witchwild 2 years ago
No one knows the date of the birth of Jesus. The Bible does not say. I can promise you it was not on December 25th though.
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
In astrology those born on 25th Dec come under the sign of Capricorn, ppl who can be hard as nails, argumentative, quite cruel & arrogant. They can be charming but as the 'goat on the top of the mountain' is their symbol, meaning they can be unmovable, stubborn, overly-ambitious & money-oriented, their ideas, generally, can be most inflexible...
Not really the character of Jesus, is it?

If so, where in the bible do I find those references?
witchwild 2 years ago
To answer your last question, I have found no exception. The 10 are the 10, and breaking one of the 10 is like breaking them all (James 2:10, and is defined as sin (1 John 3:4.. It is not my belief that we can go to war and say its ok to kill. God said, "thou shalt not kill".
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
That's what I thought, RemixLatino: Any 'taking of life' is wrong. Even crims get their 'just deserts' without human intervention. But then those who believe like u are 'real true Christians'! :-)
Actually u are right about Freemason *authors* using the term. I'm also a Mason but resigned becos I thought it was all about High Ritual, but apart from 'Initiations' the rest of our meetings consisted of collections to giv anonymous donations of equip..etc. 2 childrens' hospitals, things like that.
witchwild 2 years ago
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
That verse is soooo true. Too many ppl, especially the recent surge of thuggish rightwingers against the President, who r obeying the slanderous lies of 'men' like Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage, Hannity, Dobbs.. Most consider themselves Christians!! I beg to differ. Jesus is probably shuddering with horror at this display of anti-Christian behavior in America. Not one of them is obeying God's law of peace, love & unity. Opting instead for demonic behavior which can only backfire on themselves.
witchwild 2 years ago
I find it sad, how America has banned God from a lot. This nation was founded by those seeking religious freedom, who looked to include God, not push Him away. This nation forgot that.
About politics, man, I have heard so much from so many sides. I recognize some of those names. Hannity is interesting sometimes, I haven't heard much about the others but of them yes. I know Hannity has quoted Scripture b4. I would question his interpretation of some things though.
About....
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
the antichristian behavior n all that.. well, this honestly shouldn't surprise any who are daily students of the Bible. God does have a message for today too, I have come to find out.
But yeah, back to Obama and Hannity and all them.. this is how I feel about that. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. -Psalm 118:8

I think it's up to our own personal concience to be a good person in life; loving everyone equally & helping the vulnerable.
witchwild 2 years ago
What about psychopaths, sociopaths, criminals, deviants, paedophiles, rapists, people with chronic mental or emotional disorders who are following their own conscience, with no feeling of guilt, seeing people as an object to their own selfish gratification? Is that ok for them to follow their own personal rules of conduct? If there is no Law,then they are not guilty.
Hell is a world full of Law breakers.
TheUmboman 2 years ago
TheUmboMan for those you mention we have 'Criminal Law'! Which is appropriate for our society. I'm not saying we should live in a 'lawless society'! That would be Chaos!
I'm talking about our personal principles & values. We shouldn't *need* ancient myths to behave & live decent human beings. I'm sure Jesus didn't live according to 'rules on tablets of stone', but according to his own conscious, his own good heart. Those who follow myths to the letter can become fanatical & non too pure.
witchwild 2 years ago
And that is exactly the right mindset. But you see, that "ancient law" is not something to be stayed that way. It applies now as something to be written on our hearts. The Ten Commandments are not written on stone, but our hearts. Even the Old Testament says this.
Finchspielberg 2 years ago
I think we each are responsible for our own behaviour, thoughts, words & deeds in Life. It's too easy for christian criminals to 'blame the devil' -- "He made me do it"; or muslim criminals to be a 'martyr for allah'; or fanatical jews 'killing in the name of god'.
I am a practicing Witch & healer & our only Law is 'Do What thou Wilt--but Harm None'. That's a wonderful Law! That places all responsibility & choice in our own hands! And that's Freedom!
witchwild 2 years ago
witchwild, "do what thou wilt" sounds like something straight out of freemasonry. I'm not saying thats what you are into, but I'd be careful with that.
Also, about being a practicing witch, there are verses that would not encourage that. I'll share one below.
RemixtLatino 2 years ago

RemixtLatino 2 years ago
RemixLatino, 'Do What Thou Wilt But Hurt None' is not from Freemasonry. It comes from the Mystery Schools of Ancient Egypt.
I don't acknowledge the bible, or the christian god, as I worship the Great Goddess, Mother of the Earth. I am my own judge, so 'verses' would b wasted on me. I respect those loving true christians, those who do not judge & condemn others 4 their differing beliefs or try 2 'change' them! And altho we do not share the same beliefs I still send u all God's Blessings!
witchwild 2 years ago
The Egypt thing does sound familiar. However, I know that well known freemason authors do incorporate that saying, whether original to them or not. I can find you the author if you wish.
It is not the place for any of us to judge any other. Every1 has a choice. It is interesting, what u believe, about being your own judge etc. I do respectfully disagree. You seem genuine, thats cool. I hope 1 day u can gain an interest in the word of God. There is much hope there.
Thanks, God bless.
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
RemixLatino, u are right about it not being anyone's place to judge others. 'Judge not, lest ye be judged' says it all.
On being the judge of my own conduct -- I know right from wrong. If I'm bitchy to someone I immed feel bad & apologise. If I see something I want I save up 2 buy it. I don't think 2 *steal* it!
If I'm 'murderously mad' at someone, I walk away. Any challenge I'm presented with I see as a Life's Lesson & follow the 'right' path of my own conscience. God Bless u x
witchwild 2 years ago
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
Yes that 'little voice' we all occas hear is also called conscience. However just as the Bible teaches Christians that this voice is the voice of the Holy Spirit, in Paganism we hear this voice as our 'Higher Selves', 'Our Wise Selves', 'Our godly selves', 'The Spirit of Love' or the 'Spirit of our Eternal Beings'... Same principle, really.
Wow! When we put differences aside, & listen to each other rather than fight, we realize that we are not really that different after all! ;-) God Bless u x
witchwild 2 years ago
Too many ppl look for *differences* between themselves rather than seeking the *similarities* between them.
I this vein of unity I also prefer to say: 'Myself & others' rather than 'Us & them'.
witchwild 2 years ago
Yeah, tell me about it. I know several people that become absorbed completely in differences. While I agree with the way you are thinking, I do need to say I believe what I do for a very, very strong reason. Prophecies of the Bible fulfilled to the letter, on time. When looking into the past? Some people say this didn't exist, or that city is made up, or that king this.. sure enough, archeology always digs something up to prove the Bible is on point. While I could go on, I'll jus say...
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
The Bible is definitely no ordinary Book. There is a part in John 10:35 that says Scripture cannot be broken. Though sometimes much time has passed by to "prove" something right in the Bible, sure enough, it always happens one way or another, whether related to health, science, life, anything ;)
It is good to focus on similarities and get along with all. These type convos can help people learn much.
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
If you get a chance to..

witchwild 2 years ago
Yeah, its pretty sad. You're on point w/ those examples. There is always that tendency, to worship. We'll never hear that term used that way for those celebrities though lol. But yeah, people become really absorbed w/ that.
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
The most inspiring is when we invoke it for our Highest Good & 4 the Highest Good of others...blessings x
witchwild 2 years ago
Yup yup. Can I ask you something again? No offense intended, I'm a curious person though lol. To different people, they will look to a different "god", whatever form or origin it may have. Egyptians had theirs, as did the Babylonians, Greeks, Romans.. always.
Do you think it is possible to show there is only one God?
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
In my belief-system, I have a Deity for seperate circumstances: To protect my computer from bugs, I say a little prayer to Mercury, every day, b4 loggin on, cos he's the God of Communication. If a friend has a love problem I invoke Aphrodite, Goddess of Love for assistance. If I want to heal someone I invoke the Earth Mother Demeter. If I need courage I call on Ares, god of Courage. Rather than 1 Deity for all things..we have a number of goddess/gods for each issue in life.
witchwild 2 years ago

RemixtLatino 2 years ago
An Archangel to me is a Being of Supreme Light that has never incarnated in human form (as some regular angels have). I believe Archangels are Direct Messengers from the Divine Source. They are Superior to Earth forces & the forces of Nature, becos they are made of Pure Light. They Guide & Guard all in Nature, incl. us, with their beautiful magical wings & swords of Protection.
Nimrod? Does ring a wee bell...but offhand not sure...who/what is Nimrod? I'm intrigued :-)
witchwild 2 years ago
In short, because I think maybe (to respect the topic of the poster's video [w/ these comment length limits may be better to message]).. but yeah, in short, Nimrod. Ok, I have found, that if you trace every pagan God, from every civilization, from Ra, to Zeus, to ... well the list goes on. If you seek an origin, it begins with Nimrod, whom I have found to be, the original pagan god, of the sun. And his wife, she was later converted to the original goddess. I can explain better in a message.
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
Nimrod, is also in the Bible btw. Not as a god though, but as a very mighty warrior. The first it appears. His son, Tamuz, also comes into play w/ all that.
But yeah, that is a new perspective for me. Thanks for sharing.
Archangel, is defined as a chief of angels, or prince of angels, So, One over the angels. I believe it is one archangel (chief of angels), and that this archangel, is Jesus, who is also God. I would need more space than this to explain that one too lol.

What is an Archangel to you?
witchwild 2 years ago
"..to show there is only 1 God?" One's 'god' is a very personal thing. If u feel in your own heart there is only 1 god yor devotion is directed & focussed on yor 1 god. 4those who choose many deities that 2 is just as valid & as sacred. Religion is a deeply personal thing. Very intimate indeed. The God you love & worship loves u just as much, & the Goddesses I love & worship love me just as much. The Eternal Power lives inside our Hearts. It's better to 'know' than to 'show'. :-)
witchwild 2 years ago
Interesting again. I have more questions, if thats ok lol. B4 that, if I understood right, you believe it is not possible to show there is only one God, correct?
I will not choose to focus on this, but I am curious. Do you believe there is a devil, trying to deceive and separate people from God?
Another question. Do you believe that the God of the Bible, Jesus, will one day return?
I hope these questions are ok with you. If you dont mind, I have more, depending how you answer these.
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
Of course, its okay! :-) Questions are a sign of a bright intelligent mind! It's when we *don't* question that we are left behind in ignorance & our spirit stagnants.
On similarity to Buddhism (no offence taken) :-) as Paganism is very similar 2Buddhist philosophy. Right behavior, right conduct, right thoughts etc. We're also influenced by Hinduism: meditation, visualization, etc.
I believe any religion that instills Goodness & Honesty into the hearts of its followers is a good religion.
witchwild 2 years ago
... I meant 'stagnates'...
witchwild 2 years ago
Yeah, some of what you had explained reminded me of Buddhism. Hey, I spelled it right this time lol. Hinduism, I am aware of what that is a bit too, but, I don't get some things about it. I mean, I see it, but wonder why still (for some things). So, yours you could say is a mix, sorta kinda.
Yeah, asking questions is good. I like asking questions lol. I don't always though. I can tell it puts some ppl in an uncomfortable position, w/o intention of doing so :/
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
I do believe it is pretty difficult to 'show' their is 1 god. But so long as u & yor God are united in Love that is all that really counts. Even in 'relationships' it's like trying to 'show' your lover u love them. It's better when they just 'know' in their souls just how much they are loved by u, then u trying to constantly 'prove' it. If that makes any sense...
witchwild 2 years ago
Pagans don't believe in 'The Devil'. History says the concept of ''The Devil' was 'invented by the church to keep ppl in line'. But I do believe negative entities, demons & dark shadowy malevolent spirits exist. It's just that they are not a part of my 'aura', as such. Negative dark forces r not welcome in my psyche, my home, my Rituals, my temple, my reading matter, my life..So I never think, talk, read or write about them. I only invoke the names & presence of Forces for Good.
witchwild 2 years ago
Hmm, well, "pretty difficult" is better than "impossible" :)
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
lol! Bless your heart! U are so sweet. :-)
witchwild 2 years ago

witchwild 2 years ago
Or Alchemy: Turning base metals (my pre-conceived perception of this 'sinister & ominous' music) into Gold (now wanting to ask worldslastchance the name of the album of this gloriously wonderful track!) :-)
witchwild 2 years ago
He did promise :) Ok, more questions. Seems those may not end for a good while lol. As Jesus did promise He would return, and you did not reject that it would happen directly, where might that put other gods/goddess?
Yes, I do believe Jesus is connected to the Divine, but that He Himself also is equal. I myself would not say highly evolved though.
I believe He ascended to heaven literally. Not after the crucifixion though. 40 days after, if I remember right. He remained here during.
RemixtLatino 2 years ago

witchwild 2 years ago

Why?
Much of what Jesus said I do respect.
witchwild 2 years ago
Where can it be shown that Gandi and Teresa have ascended?
The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. -Psalm 12:6,7
God has preserved His word through the ages. Because of this, I do not believe there has been something left out of the Bible.
I am not familiar w/ those words. That He is not unique, I could reference a few examples to y He was.
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
'Ascended' to Pagans has a different meaning to the Christian meaning. When we say Mother Theresa, Jesus & Ghandi are Ascended Masters we mean they have, in effect, *transcended* the 'earthly spirit'. Rather than become a 'normal everyday spirit' when they Pass from this Earthly realm, as most of us do, they become Higher Beings of Light who immediately join the Light of the Divine when they Pass. They become 'Angelic Workers' of the Supreme Spirit, in a way.
witchwild 2 years ago
Hmm, a different interpretation of the term spirit. In the Bible, the word spirit is defined as the breath of life that God gives. When He created man, He breathed the breath of life (spirit) into him and he became a living soul. See Genesis 2:7 in case u wanted to verify. There are other references in the book of James and Job to the spirit being the breath of life. Even king David wrote about that. Interesting, though I can't say surprising really. Many churches teach something similar.
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
Question again :)
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
declaration that Jesus was always existing and is God, and that it was through Him that all was created.
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
Our interpretation of 'spirit' is: our 'astral body', our consciousness, our 'energy-body', which continues to live even after our psychical bodies have perished).
Then we have 'The Spirit', or Supreme Spirit, or Divine Spirit-- which we Pagans revere as the the Breath, the Being, the Energy, the Light, the Pure Essence of the Divine.
witchwild 2 years ago
....That is the very first lie.....when Satan said....." Don't worry you won't die....if you eat this, you can be just like God" And of course because of thier sin they died. When you die .."your thoughts perish"

..Thank you, Sir
vachief 2 years ago
vachief:
Only if u are a thoughtless being in life do your thoughts perish after the body dies. U get what u expect after physical death.
Our 'thoughts' define our consciousness. Awareness is consciousness. Being spiritiually 'awake' is consciousness. Those spirits after death who are *not* conscious, whose thoughts 'perish' along with their bodies, are usually known as 'restless spirits' or 'lost spirits' -- not a good place to be.

...Intresting doctrine.....How did you arrive at your conclusions?
vachief 2 years ago
vachief:
I live it.
witchwild 2 years ago
..Yeah ...I'm fairly certain of that......just wanted to know where you got it.
vachief 2 years ago
I see. So, you do not believe in death then, so to speak. Because at death, you still live, or something like that? Where do you believe these spirits continue to live? Do you believe a spirit to have a personality?
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
Pagans only believe in death of the body (the vehicle of the soul). The spirit lives on but where it 'goes' depends on us, on how we evolve here on Earth. Sum have to return to earth 2 a new body if Life Lessons havn't been learned. We only return to the Divine Light when we ourselves are a *part* of that Light--a loving compassionate happy & fulfilled being with no hate, no negativity, no dark thoughts, no fears. Our personalities are the same. We r still 'us' but w/out our bodies.
witchwild 2 years ago
Ok, questions again :)
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
... not be torture for someone to depart in another form, and then be able to look back at the suffering of this world? What if they saw a son die, a daughter become paralyzed after a car accident. If they watch a brother commit suicide or a spouse become a drunk because that person had died or for some other reason. If I died, and lived on to know this.. I would not be happy. And these things happen around the world daily, no? What if it was different?
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
I had also come across this equation some time ago. I won't explain it too much now but, I would like to know what you think about it :)
Ok, the formula is body+spirit=soul. It can be rephrased meaning the same thing in saying dust+breath of life=you or me alive.
If the spirit is taken, there is no soul.. the body is dead. Or, kill the body, the spirit (breath) returns to God who gave it, and again, no soul. Another way to say it is the soul is the sum of a body and spirit. So, I'm a soul
RemixtLatino 2 years ago
.. and you're a soul.
Any thoughts?
