The violence has decreased, along with civilians, I read somewhere that the amount of dead civilians has gone from 35 per day down to about 5 per day, in terms of death due to terrorist attacks, that is. We need to stay and stabalize them enough so that there are no more terrorist attacks so that these people can actually have a chance to live their lives without constant fear.

Actually, it is more that Sadr (Misspelled) has stopped his army from doing anything than the surge. Remember there have always been a slow down of activity before something big happens. Just today or yesterday I read 25 people have died and 100 injured in a bombing a few days ago. along with other activities. This was on Yahoo news.

Ron Paul isn't a "9/11 truth advocate". I agree (and many who are not "truthers") that there are many anomalies in the 9/11 story. The government is/was lying to us.
