  • They never did give that one a name. And it was only used during their match.

  • What was the battlezone that Superstar and STar Warrior fought in?

  • Does anyone know the year that this show was made?

  • @adu1991 The years this show ran was 1995-1996

  • the fight choreography was first class for it's time back then but the acting was shit for anytime love this show to death other than wresting me and my friends would emitate wmac fighter we would have matches I would always make my lil bro be the ninjas lol

  • WMAC Masters - Tommy Wiseau's vision of martial arts.

  • Ho Young looks like his bro

  • This segment alone is so full of awesome I can't even describe it. Thank you for the posts.

  • 2:33 yeah we bad

  • 2:02 oh crap

  • get this, not only was ho sung pak in mortal kombat, but so was chris cassamassa who was red dragon, hakim alston who was the machine, and richard branden who was ying yang man. ho sung played both liu kang and shang tsung. cassamassa was scorpion

  • @SanSharks LOL every WMAC fan knows that. ;)

  • random but has anyone seen the tekken movie? its pretty goood

  • Does anybody know where or if I can find this series on DVD? (It holds many good childhood memories for me BTW)

  • Hosung Pak is a really nice guy, I had the privledge to meet him recently

  • 1:33

    Words...cannot describe that epicness.

  • @ZyxthePest Damn, I'd say he convinced himself!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Superstar is Liu Kang does that make Star Warrior Chan Kang??????

  • I doubt it. Chan was younger than Liu Kang and Star warrior is OLDER than Superstar.

  • this show is so funny when I watch it now, but still very memorable.

  • Liu Kang = Ho Sung Pak as Liu Kang from MK I, Sahng Tsung from MK I, and Liu Kang again from MK II! AWESOME!!

  • @xfreddythegreatx It would have been a hilarious nod to MK if the announcer said "Finish him!" and Pak would shake his head like "wtf?" lol

  • lol yeah... that WOULD be hilarious. He'd be like: "hey man, i need to get paid for this shit, it aint free yo!"

    xDD

  • @megadeath45 so thats liu kang vs kung lao in there huh

    lol

  • @tiga92001 Not quite, Kung Lao was played by Anthony Marquez. You are seeing Raphael and Donatello since they were the stuntmen for them

  • epic

  • Those flasback that they always talk about are annoying and it has really bad acting

  • Nice swag-fu pose before the beautiful roundhouse kick at 5:15!

  • horrible acting! i love this show tho and it's message.

  • Eh, it's a kids show. It doesn't need Emmy-level acting.

  • oh totally. the message is great.

  • It was Super Star

  • one of those dudes either star warrior or super star was in jackie chan's drunken master movie

  • Cool so he really is liu kang. Me and my friend were like yea that guy looks like Liu back in 95-96. Man I loved this show.

  • Ya that is liu kang alright. I think he would make a awsome Liu kang if they decided to make another Mortal Kombat movie. If not him then Steven Chow from Kung fu hustle would also make a Great Liu Kang. Am I right people?? lol

  • You know I haven't thought of Steven Chow until you mentioned it... he would make a great Liu Kang!

  • He would be an excellent Liu Kang. Jason Scott Lee from the Jungle Book and Dragon: The Bruce Lee story was going to originally be selected as Liu Kang in the Mortal Kombat movie. They also thought about Brandon Lee and Jean Claude Van Damme to play Johnny Cage too in the film.

But the cool thing is, is that the Machine Hakeem Alston got to work with both Movie Liu Kang(Robin Shou) and Videogame Liu Kang(Ho Sung Pak)

  • lol, nostalgia

is Jun Senoue playing the guitar during the tournament "fight" scene?

  • John O reminds me of the guy from The Warriors

  • I used to love this show when I was a kid. Now it's so weird. It's like the HBO show "Oz" gone wrong. Thanks for posting this.

  • lol, so true.

  • Damn. I haven't seen this show since I was 7. Now I'm 20. Thanks AnimeBleachBabe!!! You're not the only one who wants this show back on the air.

  • can anyone explain what this show is or was? i'm confused, was everything coreagraphed?

  • WMAC masters was a tv show that aired from 1995-1996 and was totally choreographed. However, many of the masters on the show were actually stunt performers from various tv shows and movies, like Power Rangers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, or championship martial artists. However, WMAC Master's premise was to show how the martial arts could build character and morality.

  • actually it was choreagraphed like most tv shows are but all it was, was a show to not only entertain with Martial arts but to teach the kids the important things in life.

  • it also made kids believe it was kinda like UFC...but as everyone else said, totally choreographed.

i thought at the time though, "Man! They're showing behind the scenes footage and the fights! This is real! I wonder how they were able to film their past events though??" :/ When you're a kid when this show came on 10-13 years ago, you honestly believed anything and everything.

  • Hakeem Alston is his name.

  • Hey, that black dude with the braids played in the first Mortal Kombat movie. He fought Lui Kang.

  • Well... you mean Robin Sho.

  • =3 Tsunami FTW~!

  • Ho Young Pak was the oldest one right?

  • yes

  • always love sibling rivalries me and my bro were just as fierce in competitions and still are when we get the chance

  • I like ya, Machine...but don't quit your day job. "Action 'PAK'-ed"? *rolls eyes*

  • @AnimeBleachBabe well He's right, even if his joke was cheesy

  • Machine is the shit.

  • This is the guy that played Liu Kang

  • Yup. The outfit he wears is from MKII

  • @AnimeBleachBabe well it was red lol

  • The ninjas might as well have not bothered trying.

  • Thanks a lot, I miss this show so much!

  • I met Ho Sung pak about 10 years ago at the U.S. Capitol Classics in D.C. This is about when Mortal Combat first came out. I got a collectors edition comic an had most of charcters sign it.

  • LUCKY!!!!!!! :)

  • Love this episode, since it features my favorites, Superstar and Star Warrior. I was always a fan of the Kung Fu/Wushu people, but now I can appreciate all the different competitors. Can't wait for season 2 and Jukido!

  • Superstar is another one of my favorites. I like his style.

  • awesome show i miss it....thanks babe.

(no disrespect, just going by your name lol)

  • LOL, you're welcome. :)
