The real solution to the commercial fishing problem is to farm fish. We have cattle, pigs, etc. raised for food so why not do the same with fish? This way there will still be fish in the ocean which people (like myself) can catch recreationally, and we would still have our food. Simply stopping isn't the answer, farming is.
Well, with 200 dead spots in the ocean now you won't be celebrating violence against the people who were trying to make sure you had fish for your future. Your food goes extinct and then you go extinct.

I support sane sustainable fishing practices. Fishing a species to extinction benefits no one in the long run. The EU's current policies on Tuna fishing is not sustainable, even their own experts agree.

Virginia's serial killer, Cho Seung Hui, killed 31 people on campus after he was treated contemptuously by people of the sort typically found in Greenpeace units on campuses and at sea. Greenpeace is a moneymaking scam. When I investigated them as part of my investigation of the killings, I found ties among some very old and prosperous revolutionary action groups. Greenpeace is but one of them. Everywhere I found fake products, fake services, fake charities, fake environmentalists. Liars all.

I support sane sustainable fishing practices. Fishing a species to extinction benefits no one in the long run. The EU's current policies on Tuna fishing is not sustainable, even their own experts agree.
The current catch limits were set from a political agenda, and not based on facts.

Do you want that? I highly doubt they are Vegan. Another point, If those people caught a few adults and created large fish farms in the ocean where they could fish instead, there wouldn't be that problem, but they are just catching wild fish without doing anything to control how many get to breed.

Another possibility is that diameter between the earth and the sun could be slightly contracting. But then again most people try to make earths climate look like it's static. Which it is not. It's always constantly undergoing changes.
