@LineProEX Sherlock Holmes wants a word with you. A texture-pack can make any texture in the game to appear anyhow you desire. And for the record, the texture for the crafting-bench is wooden with a stone top. PURELY an aesthetic choice made by the creator.

I tried making texture maps for a mob, and testing it, and it didn't apply the texture.
