Out on the dance floor in the late 1980's...

Friends ranging from ages 14-18, dancing as a group while we each did our own thing. Colorful lights brightening our smiles and feeling good. Man, it would be sweet to just experience that for one more night.

2012: work, commute, bills, bad news, 200 channels of crap, and this sense of what the future was. But, listening to a simple magical song like this can spark hope, with that grin of satisfaction, "I know my spirit can fly, it has before...".

This song was great, I remember this song when I was dancing in a bar, in Austin, Texas on 6th Street back in 1989. I was dancing with a woman, and this song came on. The dance floor was filled with smoke, and this song was blaring. For what ever reason, this band stuck with me. This band is great, thank god for the late 80's.....

@TheBondageGang i got them from Amazon. Lullaby is a re-issue & they only had 5 left in stock i think? But re-issue means it should sound great (i hope). The debut cd- there was a newer reissue of also that is 2 discs, but it doesn't have the remix of Modigliani that i love, so i got the single disc version which i'm probably going 2 regret lol. Hm, right now they have Candy Carol but it says only 1 left in stock. At least it's not out of print perhaps? Check E-bay also. Good luck! Cheers!

i used to play this (and all their others) when i DJ'ed way back in the day. Just last night on a whim i ordered this cd and Lullaby - i had to sell my copies when i first moved to San Francisco so i could eat. Sold ALOT of great music out of necessity- slowly replacing it. Been dying to hear this and hearing it now gives me goosebumps and many fond memories. Thanks for posting.
