  • Peter Rowan did a version of this song on The Prairie Home Companion (almost for sure inspired by this awesome rendition)...it was in 2-3 part harmony with twelve strings and equaled this one as closely as possible; she would have loved it; someone please find and up load it

  • the Irish version of this song is called A Bunch of Thyme. the melody is originally gaelic. erin go bragh!
