@karilwyn1959 I have a relative who is a musician in Sweden, she said that the breakup of both the marriages was HORRIBLE, there was too much stress and in-fighting. The pictures taken of them in 2008 was all four together in public for the first time since 1983. They did get an offer to do a reunion this year in 2011, but nothing ever came through. What they did was MUSIC, plain and simple, not like this trash you hear today. I graduated High School in 1977, got my Radio DJ's license in 1980.

It was from the heart including the heartbreak from the divorces and hurt feelings you could see in their faces in the music videos. I wasn't pointing to the music being plain and simple that way, just pointing to the style of their words being more realistic than today's music. I had a lot of fond memories playing their music as a DJ.

What I really like about this band is that no matter what music you are into, when one of their songs comes on the radio or TV it is instantly recognisable as an ABBA track. Its music that transcends genres, taste and history. A truly brilliant band that will never ever be forgotten.
