@veinom666666 Yeah, since I made that comment, I've both picked up about a thousand more but weeded out a ton of them as well.lol. Some look cool but aren't challenging while others aren't designed very well but are very challenging. Some just suck completely in both and some are well done. Lately, I've been replacing better made versions of characters I already have.

@alekesam you use Mugen1 (2011) now? It seems better that the previews ones but it will make me dispose some of my good chars. Can you program new original characters? because Im good at making original graphics

@veinom666666 Unfortunately, no. In regards to character creation, I'd be more on graphics side than the programming side if I were making characters. I wish I actually could at least program because then I could fix what otherwise would be good characters. RE: Mugen1(2011). Yeah, I finally made the jump. I did lose a few characters, but not as many as I thought I would. It's really stable. I can finally get through a bunch of matches without it crashing. lol.

@veinom666666 If by 4p you mean two on two then yeah, I haven't had any problem with it. Had some good matches too. As far as making them smaller, you'd have to go into your Mugen (I think) cfg files and edit the resolution to something smaller. What size do you usually play at? I think 640 by 3something is the default.Mine is set to whatever my screen width is, making it widescreen.I know having it smaller makes it look better but I get distracted by whatevers behind the game.

@alekesam I was playing with dosmugen. I just found out about mugen1. Downloaded few "ready" games, some play fullscreen and the chars are taking the whole of the screen. its not the resolution, chars used to be smaller in dosmugen.

on the "latest version" end of things it gets complicated. The version of mugen most used for the last 6+ years as been WinMugen. The company that created it recently resurfaced and created a new official version, Mugen 1.0, though if you want Mugen 1.0 you may not have access to as many characters, stages, etc. Finding WinMugen and Mugen 1.0 is actually pretty easy, I googled it myself and found it without many issues. It gets a bit more complicated when you start getting into playing.

what you would worry about is now "how" to download characters/stages but "where", and again lol google. if you google "Mugen Database" or something to that effect you'll get websites like MugenInfantry and RandomSelect, sites like those have lots of characters and stages available for everyone to download. characters and stages usually come in either .rar .zip or .7z, but there are some cases where it'll be .ace or a foreign compression. PeaZip is what i mainly use for file extraction.

putting your characters and stages in is pretty easy too(it works the same for both winmugen and mugen 1.0 last i checked). for characters, you have to look at it's .DEF file to make sure it matches the name of the folder. so a folder named "Ryu" would have to have a file called "Ryu.def" for it to work. because what happens is you put that Ryu file in a folder called "Chars" within your main mugen folder. I might have to send you a pm to explain the rest lol hard to do in chunks
