sorry to say nut this song is only but another rendition of "Besame Mucho by Diana Krall"! not an original unfortunately. i honestly expected much more from this woman. a lovely voice nevertheless.
@chonnexx we all enjoy and appreciate music in different ways - what makes us unique as people are,, I listened to Diana Krall after reading your comment but find Valerie Kimani’s version of this song very smooth, more enjoyable to move with and her voice has a very seductive tone ;>)
Fantastic! I love the arrangement and her voice. The double bass thing is just sweet! The middle part with African chanting is sooo refreshing. One problem, she has headphones coming out of a guitar amp. What's up with that?
Hard to believe this song was written by a 16 year old Mexican girl 70 years ago! The most popular song in the world ever. I've heard it in four languages and a hundred accents. And now we have an "African" version. I love it!
@kevinoti oh paleeeeeeeez just readin your comment n lukn at the video i can tell you are jelous. Its good thing to think before you talk/type so as not to give yourself away...
This is a joke right?....Please telly me it's a joke. I'm all for experiencing different cultures/cultural diffusion and all that shiz, and her singing in spanish is pretty is impressive...But COME ON!
For those who do not know this is a classic ......not original at all...but i must say her attempt was pretty good....nice....the original is superb!!
even though this is the era of globalization dont you think like the first five songs should be from Kenya wit a Kenyan language so sad how capitalism is just eroding reality and culture no offense.
So who's her target audience? last time i checked, spanish wasn't an east africa's dialect. EABL,is this what our beer money is paying for? music inspired by south american soap opera's?
She has a lovely voice however, I think it would have done her good to take a spanish class because her pronunciations make me cringe. = /
