2:13- "stop...GO" LOL. Saw movie only recently, and loved it's pre-bruckheimer "go-nowhere yet inexplicably riviting" pace. Quiller orders a coffee in german while being high-speed stalked? Classic. Jack Gallo, Obi-Wan and Ming the merciless all in one movie. This trailer, however, is impossible to watch with a straight face. Just have to remember it proceeds all it's genre-mocking parodies to come. Now what was that catchphrase again? oh yes--"what do they want of..QILLAHHH??"
Yes, I remember the TV series (just about). That was what got me into the books, before I was actually aware of the film. I still have the 7" single of the theme tune.
Amazing movie! Saw it for the first time a couple years ago - my dad saw it on TV late one night and loved it! Then they had it on again the next night, so I stayed up and watched it. Very good 60's film - one of my favorites!
Three days of the Condor was great! Robert Redford and Faye Dunaway! I agree with you there 100%. Still tryign to look for Marathon Man though. Is this the one with Dustin Hoffman and Sir Lawrence Olivier?
I enjoyed this film so much, I then borrowed the book from the library and others in the 'Quiller' series by the same author; I enjoyed the weekly series they made for TV called simply "Quiller" with Michael Jayston in the lead role. Anyone else remember that?

Harold Pinter's script makes this one a classic. The woman in it is very beautiful too.

Senta Berger was extraordinarily beautiful.

@intrepidlikes
Yes - based on the novel of the same name by William Goldman - Directed by John Schlesinger. With Dustin Hoffman, Laurence Olivier, Roy Scheider.
The DVD extras are well worth watching too!
William Goldman is an amazing writer! He wrote a book that I loved in HS - "Temple of Gold"
He's also written: Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid --
The Princess bride -- Misery -- All The Presidents Men -- as well as producing & consulting on a bunch of great movies.
