Love the video but there is one piece that should be edited out. At 15:29, there is a clip of Mike Gravel saying "some of these people frighten me.". This clip is taken WAY out of context, just like the misinformation that is being spread about Dr. Paul. Gravel was referring to the other 2008 Democratic candidates stating how all of the other "mainstream" candidates represent the status quo and will certainly send us to war.

I really like Ron Paul, and I think that he is the best presidential candidate. But this video really takes off in a way that makes it impossible to take it seriously. Mixing Ron Paul's comments and video clips with anti-American propaganda will seriously damage his candidacy.
@Republic3D That's the biggest issue with America today. The people think it's unpatriotic to question their government's actions. This video brings these actions into question and shows that there is a lot of evil going on that people need to be aware of. Our political system is very different, and according to the UN and some organizations we're the most democratic country i the world. Anyway, my point was that mixing clips of Ron Paul's fabulous speeches with short video clips of an American soldier throwing a puppy, that's really bad. That puppy video clip is horrible, but here it's used as a symbol of how "evil" American soldiers are. Not good.
@Republic3D Fair enough. That puppy video made me sick to the stomach. It is a misrepresentation of America on the whole but it is an example of some of the types of people that signed up for that war. Don't get me wrong I have a huge respect for people that serve their country, but sadly that isn't the only case of an American soldier doing something as horrendous as that and its that reality of war that people don't see in the media.

@Republic3D That's the biggest issue with America today. The people think it's unpatriotic to question their government's actions. This video brings these actions into question and shows that there is a lot of evil going on that people need to be aware of. Thomas Jefferson once said "When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny" We are throwing the fear back in their face and that is as patriotic as it gets.

Our political system is very different, and according to the UN and some organizations we're the most democratic country i the world. Anyway, my point was that mixing clips of Ron Paul's fabulous speeches with short video clips of an American soldier throwing a puppy, that's really bad. That puppy video clip is horrible, but here it's used as a symbol of how "evil" American soldiers are. Not good.

It is a misrepresentation of America on the whole but it is an example of some of the types of people that signed up for that war. Don't get me wrong I have a huge respect for people that serve their country, but sadly that isn't the only case of an American soldier doing something as horrendous as that and its that reality of war that people don't see in the media.

For those full of fear: Ron Paul would not hesitate to go to real war. If there was good reason, congress would declare war, with clear objectives. And as for soldiers themselves: this one is hard. It is extremely hard to break away from the structure they are under until it's too late. I really respect soldiers, no matter what they did.
