@Meszczak1 I have been training in martial arts for over 20 years, so I very much respect MMA. But, you had to be there growing up in the 80's to appreciate all of this vintage WWF footage. It was a very different and awesome time in so many ways (unlike today).

It is pointless to try and compare MMA to WWF, because they are two completely different things. One is real and the other is choreographed entertainment. Nobody is denying that.

That's why when people say there's not enough wrestling with WWE they should go watch high school wrestling or like you mentioned olympic wrestling. They all had charisma and their gimmicks alone were marketable because they established themselves as entertainers.
