God forbid a n action movie from having a beautiful story and ridiculously amazingly coreographed fighting scenes. I was hoping 4 martial art from Chinese series, so the western can get to see how traditional and eye-satisfying it is (Like in Jin Yong's martial arts and chivalry genre). But the director used such Hollywood way that I even smell Western in every scenes.

CTHD is one of the few movies (with real people) that is truly magical. i cannot remembering being more absorbed into a fantasy world than when first watching CTHD in theatres - it completely caught me off guard and i remember pretty much holding my breath during the first rooftop fight; i let out a long exhale after it was over and the lady sitting next to me says 'i held my breath too'
