Great gutarest! Holly crap he was sweep picking nice! He reminds me of Eric Johnson, Marty Friedman and Jason Becker. I think I have to get an albem of his that was truelly impressive. I can't belive I haven't herd of this guy before. I love the close ups and enjoyed watching him make that gutar sing!

Fuck man you haven't hear d of Neil even though you live in LA? He's known as a guitarist of melodic playing, although it's kinda funny to me cause I know that Joe Satriani has done the same ever since he broke the rock scen in 1987 up to this day. Even today his music is more melodic than ever.

Well, I believe he lives in Cleveland, not exactly LA or NY or the west coast, so maybe that had something to do exposure-wise. I do read Guitar Player magazine and must've missed a profile of him, which is where you learn about a lot of these unsung players. Neil is apparently huge is Asia and Italy.

You are right. His career started off in States but he became famous in Asia. Later on he was invited by Cort to start touring in countries of central Europe like Poland and if I am not mistaken Czech Republic and Slovakia. He's been to western Europe several times but many people still do not know about him. This guy has plenty years of on-stage experience and he played altogether with people like Petrucci, Dream Theater and Matt Murphy. Good job recording that stuff during NAMM :) cheers

Thanks for the upload jongreek, it's great to see his playing up close (if you can call watching a youtube video that). I'm sure physically being there was cooler. Rarely do I ever see a guitarist enjoy himself so. Neil remains one of my favourite guitarists to date, and this video was a treat.

Glad you dug it. It sounded great standing all of 7' away. The TC gear he was using was good stuff and i was tempted to buy one of those units...too pricey. I here he is from Cleveland and is quite popular in Europe and Asia. I'd not heard much of him here in L.A. in the states, but he is a fine electric player.
