Here are some extra info about Wai Wai World. The original Goemon game was actually "Mr. Goemon", not the NES one many know of. Konami Man's first appearance was in the Road Fighter arcade, which StrategyWiki's page about it can explain it to you. And Konami Lady, is actually an android, not a real human.
Great episode. :) Here's some stuff that you may or may not know about:
* Konami made a different version of The Goonies for MSX in 1986 (released in Japan and Europe). It borrows the basic concept from Famicom version, but features completely different levels and a number of differences.
* Konami also made a different version of King Kong 2 for MSX2 in 1986 (released only in Japan). Unlike the Famicom version, the MSX2 version is an action-RPG and you don't play as King Kong, but as Mitchel.
Wait... so Konami owns Mikey from the Goonies? And they own the character King Kong? If Nintendo got in trouble for making Donkey Kong because it resembled King Kong, then wouldn't Konami get into huge trouble for putting King Kong in a game with other characters that they own?
probably the legal rights to use those characters were much easier back then in Japan, probably why Konami didn't release the game in outside of Japan
In the cell phone rerelease of the first game in the Wai Wai World series, Mikey and King Kong were replaced with Upa (from Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa) and Pentarou.
They were just added, because they were popular licensed games at the time.

I knew it! I knew it you will review Konami World.. or Wai Wai World if that's really its title...
I very much knew all the characters in Wai Wai World and played their in own games... except for King Kong though
And that Konami Lady, heheh! Was Konami Lady really her official name? I used to call her Konami Girl before and Konami Man is Captain Konami.
Anyway, I'll be waiting for part 2 of your review. Nice review and also funny, hehehe!
Thank you very much! ;)
