I am using your demo software, checked the connections and i discovered, that I connected the "b drive part" to the ground, is it a problem?? Could you also tell me some "delay" and "number of steps" options, because the motor doesn't wanna move :(
Please, send me the software you have useed to control the floppy. I made a program in visual basic 6 but it's too slow (about 15 steps peer second). My email adress is coliscip@yahoo.com and my yahoo messenger ID it's: coliscipThank you in advance!
I have an article on controlling floppy drives..but youtube doensn't let me to post a url. Do a google search on controlling floppy drives with a parallel port..and you'll find my CodeProject article. :)
You need to leave a way for people to get into touch wit u, i tried making a stepper motor work by using ur method, all i got was a very bad shock up my arm and a stepper motor that won't stop spinning. If you could help it would be great.
Really great, congrats!!!! :D

you should do that with 2 stepper motors from 5.25 drives, to move camera in all directions =)
And you can use 3rd one to make some kind of autofocus =)
