is their a player that has this all built in?

    kind regards:)hope u can help.

what would u go4jupiter80,v-synth or fantom g8?and why:)

  • Also would these sounds be compatible with a normal V-synth if I bought one?

  • Are you using an 88 key midi controller with the rack version?? Or is that how it comes?

  • It sounds better than the virus ti?

  • How do we use the patches, do we just connect via usb and replace ones we don't use?

  • Comment removed

  • What chords played in 6:42 pad sound?

  • You need to make videos of how you make these sounds. Or sell an instructional dvd. It has taken me so long to learn how to use this synth. I wish I had a teacher. well done.

  • is it possible to do the starting synth sound on sylenth?

  • @shawndude888 Since the Sylenth doesn't have comb filters it won't be possible.

  • WOW

    i want this synth

  • 6:23 sorry

  • @JohnandAnnick1 059:Steady. Freely reprogrammed from a track by Andy Moore and Lange.

  • @Hanni13579 what the track called?

  • @JohnandAnnick1 Lange vs Andy Moor - Stadium Four

But the melody is all different. It's just the sound.

  • what the sound @ 1:23

  • Should i get this or the jupiter-80?

  • @bentkkkk WHat do you want to do? If you need bread and butter sounds, go for the Jupiter, if you really want to do sound design, take the V-Synth.

  • I own the korg karma virus Ti and novation supernova 2 I'm afraid if I get the v- synth my others may gather dust!! Awsome demo dude!

  • hi! i can't find the usb driver of v synth xt for windows xp? help please?

  • Can XT patches be used in a first generation V-Synth?

  • @majorsynth Yes, if you updated to the latest OS version. :)

  • @MrJimix81 JayB - Night Shift ;)

  • sounds sweeeeeeet man

  • can i load these patches on a roland lucina or a ax synth?

  • 0:38 to 1:00 is a total basshunter moment :)

    Anyways, nice patches, sounds great

  • Wow amazing!please make some more samples with the xt!

  • Wow dude! How did you got this great piano patch? Really liked it!

  • @dyonight It's based on samples from Yamaha S80. ;)

  • can I get a these great patches for my V-Synth?

  • @Synthieman1 Sure you can. :)

  • @Hanni13579

    via email? Synthieman1@aol.com

  • @Synthieman1 Nope. On my homepage you can download the bank. I will add the link to the description. :)

  • 5:01 just made my day :) ty

  • you've got one of those keyboard stands which vibrates and is annoying

  • @MrFaceHead I know. This will change as soon as I build my own "real" studio. :)

  • thats mountable yeah? i've got rack space.. n this sounds crazyyy

  • @xVenu5 It is mountable, yes. I've removed my rack ears now, because they were needlessly taking space.

  • @Hanni13579 sweet.. thx dude

  • So it looks like this connects to other keyboards. Are you able to record the patches on to tracks to make a song?? ( I have fantom X6 - I'd like to replay them later and tweak the music)

  • 7:32 I creamed

  • I think you're great! what keyboard re you using with this?

  • @LydiaAlex CME UF7

  • @djaries69 u say u cant afford crazy priced gear but do u realise what Nexus 2 cost? u are obviously using warez

  • @tomsrolla Well, 250 € for Nexus 2 to 1500 € for V-Synth XT is quite a difference.

  • @Hanni13579 Actually, ive seen the V-synth XT go for $800-$1000

The nexus with all presets is $2000+

  • @LzI Honestly: do you need *all* expansions? I for example wouldn't need all the HandsUp and Orchestra stuff.

  • @Hanni13579 Don't ask me. ask tomsrolla :P

  • nice

  • JAY B is there anyway you can create a sond Bank for Nexus2 with all your sounds??? Because though I love the Sounds I can't afford the crazy priced Gear..

    Thanks..

  • @djaries69 Long question, short answer: No. :/

  • excellent sound , i hesite with a virus Ti shnow or polar

  • hate the sounds. american bull crap

  • @jaminjaminjaminjamin lol, american sounds. are there European and African synthesizer sounds? fuckin idiot.

  • @tionik06 no u suck

  • Love the celphone interference patch at 2:18, lol. Great patches, thanks for sharing.

  • It sounds really good!, congratulations!

  • amazing, I wish i had a v synth gt i want one so bad!

  • MAAAAAAAN!!! WHY DID I SELL MY V-SYNTH!!?!?!? My latest clip on my channel is the most painful reminder of how amazing the v-synth is. YouTubers gotta check it out. IT's EPIC and beautiful!!

  • Great! I have got a V-synth XT and will never sell it. Thank you, JayB.

  • outstanding patches!!! where did you get that libary or is that standard patches?

  • @Peteraardz These are my sounds. I programmed them myself from scratch.

  • @Hanni13579

Do you share your patches ?

  • as if there's 4 people out there who dislike this?!

  • this is lady gagas secret!

  • i bought eleven thirty and signals - can't believe u were featured in a state of trance, that is very cool indeed.

  • you're jayB? cause if so thats sick.

  • @TheDLovas I'm indeed JayB. And thanks for your support. :)

  • @Hanni13579 no wonder your tunes sounds soo good than the rest of known trance producers!

    nice synth :D

  • @Hanni13579 just bought eleven thirty and signals. Nice work man.

  • I would love to have some of the sounds from this keyboard. I own a fantom x8 is there any way of getting patches from this keyboard into mine?! Can anyone HELP me??

  • 2:17 - brilliant xD

  • could you make a version of jayB - Night shift as a relaxing music? just like in the vid?

    cuz it was awesom!

  • Dude, how did u learn the notes so well?

  • @DjAdam16 12 years piano lessons. ;)

  • @Hanni13579 Been producing since 2005, but soon I will start some private keyboard classes so I can learn more how to compose on real equipment rather than VST's. What you suggest if somebody needs to learn actual key notes?...im 21 and all i searched for pianoo lessons are for kiddy's...LOL...im actually thinkin in taking adult keyboard lessons! ;)

  • @DjAdam16 It's never too late to start learning. Go to your local national music school and ask. You'll be more successful than teaching yourself, since you can hardly judge yourself..

  • @DjAdam16 producing shit

  • @lucadepu Excuse me?

  • @lucadepu Oh yeahh....Who's producing shit? your mother right? yeah...that nigga got some sick beatz! ...i wonder what's her tempo on the bed! LOL

  • @DjAdam16 let me telll you : nigga = a black man, your attempt at speaking "ghetto" is fucking retarded you dumb cunt, you just got pwned. see ya homie

  • @lucadepu Big LOL for you dude. It's kinda funny how your profile is full of hated comments. I guess you go on youtube and insult people for a living....I wonder how much you make!..anyways...

  • @lucadepu you are an idiot bud/

  • Nice patches and fine playing!

  • wow, nice job dude...i know what im saving up for, shit you could never go wrong getting one of these babies!

  • Hey, how portable is this thing? Can you easily take it anywhere?

  • nice works and nice synth machine!

  • Great sound's Brother ! You've got the Magic !!! 5*****

  • Quality patches dude

  • dont know why but sirius sounded more genuine... is it my impression, or is there any truth in this?... thnks

  • Hi ,

Can you tell me please you home page,I would check for those paches..Thank you!!

    Great job,..

  • @zuvis78 Check my profile page. There you'll find it. =)

  • hi there, great job, can i have these patches, and if money how much..thanks

  • @khajub They are now available on my homepage. Check my artist page for the link. :)

  • @Hanni13579

many thanks I just downloaded them . appreciation, and will update you soon when used.. great job, I will be happy also to consult with you since i am a beginner.

    many thanks again..

  • @Hanni13579

by the way , if you think again will you stay with the XT or go the GT , please advice

  • I found a v synth version 2 on ebay. Would these patches work for that??? and are there drum patches with arpeggiators on that? or combis where you can have a drum part and synth at same time? please get back.

  • The one named Steady (I think) would've made a perfect chill trance song :)

  • great patches! and video too, of course :)

  • is that the keyboard that comes with the v synth? or can you only purchase the rack version and put it on a controller? i dont get it.

  • @Synthesized13 : The V-Synth XT is only a rack module. The keyboard is the CME UF-7 and has nothing to do with the V-Synth XT. There is, however, a keyboarded version called V-Synth (without the XT).

  • @Hanni13579 this CME is better than M-Audio Axion ?

  • JB, I can't believe you don't have a Virus TI2 yet. That synth combines ALL of the synths you have into one. You spent too much cash! lol

    you the man though!

    saludos de Miami

  • @LittleNegrilio Thanks. ;) It's propably because when I got all the stuff, the Virus TI wasn't invented yet. :P

  • @LittleNegrilio It is all about tweaking and programming, the virus cannot do what the v synth XT can. But if you' re just a preset player you' ll be fine.

  • 1:06 OMG is very good.....

  • what keyboard are u playing this through?

  • @drinkmusik It's a CME UF7. Grüße zurück aus Chemntiz. ;)

  • Fantastic

  • do you record with your casmera or through a aduio interface? cuz this is pretty good sound quality. wish i had the money for one of these =/ but i got your patches for the yamaha an1x. I also highly recommend you look up Marc E's customs for the yamaha an1x, if you havent already!

  • i like the pitch bending on the 'air guitar' patch u did... sounds AWESM!

  • do you know what the name is of this synth patch played at 0:45 of this video at youtube /watch?v=M7xpY97jWaQ ?

    thanks.

  • how d i get one of these and wats the price range

  • wow this machine i like very much this work very well!!!

  • Patches downloaded, very nice patches, I've imported your project on my GT, not all the patches are working, but really nice work.

  • That is interesting. :) Can you tell me, which patches don't work?

  • Comment removed

  • whats the song at 1:33- 1:48? pleaseee

  • It's JayB - Eleven Thirty. Just like it's written in the subtitles. :)

  • Comment removed

  • great patches, i keep meaning to do the same, but as soon as I sit down to do it I get distracted into playing the damn thing. I'd be interested in getting hold of a copy and creating a few myself. Are they on any of the forums?

    Fixed1t

  • i am so jealous that i don't have one.

  • Cool sounds

Can't wait until you post them and start to experiment with them.

All very usefull and so much better then the Roland factor presets

  • Nice sounds :)

I have a GT so waiting for you to put the patch on your webpage..

    Keep up the good work...

  • Dude! U have hairy hands! Lol but your sick!! Keep up the good work bro!!!

  • I've got a spot of pigmentary abnormality on my right hand that causes increased hair growing. But I don't mind. ;)

  • @Hanni13579

You still havent said how I can get these patches...I am going to get an XT this Friday...Im still not keen on the factory patches...dont go breakin my heart now...

  • I'm going to put these sounds on my homepage this month and also going to record another video with more sounds. So be patient. :)

  • So much better than the original V-synth! Way to go and keep up the work!

  • @punkprinces3004 : in the sound synthesis point of view the original V-synth's engine is exactly the same like in the XT.

You can load any xt project into V-synth (OS 2.0) and vica versa.

  • You and your synth are both awesome!

  • I am seriously looking at getting a V synth....I was considering the Gt, however I am amazed that it doesn't come with the Vc-1. I have always loved the D50 so having one again would be great....man I love your created sound-sets...I would love to get them off you...How can I go about that...thanks again

  • Wow, that's a lot of different sounds. The sound engine must be super flexible.

  • The best demo ive seen on youtube for this synth...great job, im gonna go buy one now :)

  • that pad on 1:06...do u know any similar sound on vst-s?

  • @theoceanvision Probably the Wavestation plug-in from the Korg legacy collection can do stuff like that.

  • @sauermusicDE thanks ill check for it! ;)

  • awesome patches man, great demonstration too. i was wondering how you have the v-synth module perched on top of your keyboard like that

  • I never knew the v-synth could sound this good. Roland makes good products but are lackluster when it comes to advertising or pushing a product. Even their demo's have always been garbage, lacking creativity never showing the products true potential. They show key features for products but never implement them to something where it's useful or even sounds good.

  • I bet youtube is helping sell more synths for them than their own marketing dept. I always find that there is too much chat on their demo's and not enough playing and the audio is crap. This is the best way to demo a synth, no chat and pure sound.

  • I'm using the same synth controlled by a SynthAxe guitar.

    Amazing..........

  • OMG THIS IS THE COOLEST THING EVER

i got some questions though, iv never seen any thing this before and i was wandering since the roland v synth is an add on to your keyboard, what kinda a keyboard do you need to add it on?

  • You can use any keyboard with midi out for controlling the V-Synth XT. It's a complete synth just without keyboard, that can be controlled via MIDI or USB.

  • which controller keyboard do you recommend to get the best performance out of the XT?

  • It actually doen't matter as long as you've got Pitchbend, Modwheel and Aftertouch. Of course the best controller is a V-Synth (without XT), but most non-standard controllers can be found on the V-Synth XT itself. :)

  • Oh lord no....the next keyboard wizard is here !!

    Duck and cover

  • at 7:40 did you use a eq filter sweep to do that effect...or is it done some other way? Thanks

  • This is a simple lowpass filter, controlled with the modwheel.

  • It would be great if you made these patches downloadable!

  • Hanni, are these made using the VA section of the synth or are they samples you've loaded in and tweeked?

  • Air Guitar is a great sound

  • Please upload all sampels 10 seconds long in HQ. from key C1 - C8 Thanks:-)

  • Hey JayB, on the first patch you played is the oscillator a shamisen/koto patch or some kind of synth? You really are a master of the synth.

  • @shadowO12

Thanks. The Sound at the beginning is a white noise oscillator and a melodic comb filter with envelope. :) Search for "JayB Night Shift" on YouTube and you'll find the song the sound was used in. :)

  • hi, i just got a roland v-synth gt, and i may sound like an idiot, but how do you create your own sounds? is it just modifying the sounds already in the unit or what? i am beginner, but very interested in leaning. please help

  • Just create (and load) a new empty project on the flash disk (compact flash in my case) whose slot is on the front, and start programming from scratch. That's at least what I do.

  • show me....

Or sell me some of these...... I command YOU!

lol... Just playing, but would like to buy some of these from you

  • SUPER

  • what keyboard are you using with it? and are you changing sound parameters while playing at 1:33? or am i crazy?

  • The keyboard is a CME UF-7. I used the modwheel to control the filter cutoff. And yes, I also played bass notes with the same hand.

  • Are you running the sound through anything?

  • @tharemedybeats

I have to run it through my soundcard, howerver there's nothing that changes the sound after it left the V-Synth.

  • DUDE!!!!!

    NICE SOUNDS!!!!!!

Let me know when that bank is released...

  • Nice patches!

What do you think of the XT compared to original V-Synth keyboard? I am thinking of getting one of them because the used price has gone down. GT is too expensive for me.

XT has all the cards built in so its more value for money, but since its a rack it seems like something that should stay inside the studio. Have you actually brought the XT with you in live performances and if so how did you use it. Is it useful as a portable and live tool?

  • @ultraxmusic: I bought the V-Synth XT for studio use in the first case. Though using if live on stage would be possible since it's got a firm stand on the CME. You'd just need two boxes for transport. :)

  • I LOVE "Eleven Thirty"

  • very nice sounds u made there... i was looking for a review for the V-Synth XT and i found ur vid my question is is it worth it or should i go with a Virus TI Snow ? what do u think ?

  • Cool!. did you use any wave samples in these patches? or all of the sounds are coming from the internal memory?

  • There are a few wave samples. e.g. the piano is a multi sample from a Yamaha synth and the drum sounds are from sample CDs.
