Ronin are the ones that lost their master or don't want to have one, they are not a samurai... in this music though, they are talking about samurai SOUL, not being an actual samurai, in the music he says "even though I'm not a samurai", he's talking about the spirit of the samurai

@kisftw Well, your point is valid, but technically speaking ronin are not samurai (that's why they have a different name). Samurai means "one who serves" and by definition ronin serve no master (they are still bushi though). However the band probably uses the word samurai in the song simply for artistic reasons, so there's no point in debating if it's "correct". I'm not criticizing you or anything, I would just be careful with using the word "exactly" in caps in this particular context;)
