make sure that your running on CFW and also you need a PSP 1000 or 2000 model in order to use this firmware.

If you have a PSP 1000 (FAT) model it will not say 5.50 GEN B2 it will say 5.50 GEN B (FULL) and that's it. For some reason the Update does not show on a PSP FAT but the Update still occurred.

you have to have your PSP running on Custom Firmware (CFW) in order to update to this.

hi i have the 5.50 gen b2. is there any reason why i wouldnt be able to connect online in any aspect? cuz thats what is happening to me. it always times out and im right next to the router

try deleting the connection you have saved and then punch it in again and see what happens.

maybe Idk, i have a slim its a grey one, and i have worked my ass off on it, maybe I need pandora and magic card Idk...i dont have the money now to get one but walmart has a pandora memory. i seen one but the magic im unsure. im gonna upgrade mine to a 4 gig memory i done everything i could think of and it done the same thing for my roms games and i want mario so baddddddd lol

well you need to buy a 1 GB Memory Stick or higher that is a Sony and make it into a Magic Memory Stick using a program on the computer. The Pandora Battery is for sale on pspslimhacks . com (without the spaces) for like 5 dollars.

maybe you dont have Custom Firmware, or other than that the files extracted wrong, or you could have just put the files on the wrong directory on the Memory Stick.
