  • Why do we do what we do?

Bcuz we are who we are.

Why are we who we are?

Bcuz that's how the combination of our DNA and our life experiences wired our brains.

DONE! Done like dinner. Done like Turkey on Rye!!! Just plain fucking DONE!!!!

  • Your lecture reminds me strongly of Mr. Ramachandran`s ;-)

  • what's you CV/educational background like, if you don't mind me asking?

  • @mehhh15 I did this when I was a senior in high school. I took this class the previous year and came back to do a talk. I just did a lot of reading and research to put this together.

Now I'm studying cognitive science and neuroscience at UC San Diego.

  • @acacia0sunshine

Just to let you know what your getting yourself into. I'm a neuroscience major. graduating this year. Hardest bio class i've taken + immunology. Cognitive science is more about psychology. It's less scientific.. more logical. i think this is what your interested in. Neuroscience is a major that is VERY scientific/conceptual and lab oriented. Neuroscience is interesting but... it is VERY scientific/ experiement/ lab oriented. A lot of physics btw.

  • @yellowman88 That's why I am hoping a combination of the two will help establish a better understanding of how people work and think. Really I see cognitive science as something that can link together a variety of fields to create applicable theories to education, psychology, and anthropology.

And physics is more delightful than terrifying. I wish I had time to learn more about quantum mechanics....and math philosophy....
