I love the sound of it, including the effects, the sound of rain and the vocal percussion (very fine touch by the way!) that add to the misterious thoughtful atmosphere!

The composing of the song was less than 10 minutes but the way it is presented here is the result of various attempts : the first version was without the rain ( too much intimate) and I made also another version with a nice mandolin solo in place of the Telecaster ( but my daughter said that this was too soft !! And I always listen to her musical advice !!)

@OneFlewOverMe I was not so sure about that switch in the beginning and made also the same night another version where an etheral acoustic mandolin is taking over the acoustic guitar .
But as my daughter told me the contrast between acoustic and electric was more interesting, this ended up as the featured version ! Thank you very much Christo for your always kind words !!

The other friend who records these sessions knows science of microphone placement ; and myself ,coming more of an electric background I had to learn to make this guitar breathe : my picking hand doesn't touch the guitar .
(You can really hear the difference with one of my oldest videos Studio Session : It was same guitar , same microphone but it was my beginnings with this guitar !
